As I walked into the temple at the Seva Asrama I got darsan
The curtain was open
A young girl asked me if it was really true that the figure of the lion appeared in both the jotish cakra and the moment of Mahaprabhu’s appearance
Saw the leis maker weaving blue ribbons indicating a high personality
Todays of petals, roses, and marigolds
As I walked into the temple at the Seva Asrama I got darsan
The curtain was open.
A swami there said to me look at those mukuts and effulgence
Did the seamstress make them?
What a beginning. I started in the usual way that is over the long and winding to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa where I offered respect. But as I made the right on to the main road I thought I saw one of the folks heading up toward the seva asrama so I gave pursuit. About halfway there I realized my mind was getting the better of me. Still I went on to see that just as Sir Elton said “holy Moses! I have been deceived!” I get back and respect the ratha-bhojana-vrksa on the way to the main road. At the bridge over the first highway the gecko is waiting. We carry on to the triangle quietly through and on to Saint Dagwood’s park. Around there to the bhajan kutir of Om Paramahamsa Thakura who is taking the name with joy. The great blue whale greets us as we get over the gravel. Back to the sufferer thakura who has a coat on as the fog is creeping in. The toffee nose snots green salt water and watches while we pass the leaping monque. At the shop the gecko stops and says he’s had enough. I sprint on to the pedaler’s ramp and say hey to the bear. Left on the big road and the long and winding awaits the ratha-bhojana-vrksa says “haven’t I seen you somewhere before today?”
The little cat feet and the kalarupa pace me to the sandhya. On the way a clever coyote crosses before me but I make it all the same.
In the ninth Guru-Gauranga Gandharvika-Giridhari dress up with new belts and dance all night.

I have frolicked before in these cow pastures
And that's where I want to take you back
Where laughter fills the air and butter, milk, yogurt, cream and ghee flow
Yes it's true and you can go there too
Exploitation going down and dedication coming up
All talk is song, every gait is a dance yes It's past your media time
Leis of marigolds and the red flowers with small eyes ol' toff don't like that sentence. “this is the first time I chatted with someone while I was picking flowers.” The maker said.
Spinning to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa bowing there and meeting the gecko at the go light on the main road. We go left at the hospital turn over the rodeo creek to the toad road. Going right to the soccer pitch the gecko and I point to the hook with our brake levers. At the natasala is showing a famous model this evening and laughing as we pass the gecko has to take his leave at his shop. I pass the reviewing stand and go to the redone road and I keep the tennis park on my right. Back to the nava patra on to the wharf road where a gagel of pink cruisers are giggling ahead and I sprint past. At the go light I return to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa and fold my palms. The kalarupa cheers as I pass on to the sandhya i keep the puspes for the ceremony under my hat and return to blow my horn.
The chill in the air inspires Guru-Gauranga Gandharvika-Giridhari to perform their pastimes inside this evening in their Hiranyakasipu dress.

The folks took darsana with glee to see the Deites
In the outfit called the queen
Every color of the rainbow is there and the hairdresser artfully placed flowers in their hair and everywhere
Celebrating ekadasi locally with leis done by volunteers
Giridhari’s broke so I hung it on his flute
Respect to the rath-bhojana-vrksa and meeting the gecko on the southland we once again see Mahamuni’s post box. The beasts are surprised that we climb the florist’s hill so easily. The opal cliff is empty so we hammer all the way to the point of the hook. We breathe a little heavy but we speed to the harbor and at the natasala people are in line for tonight’s show. We go around Saint Dagwood’s park before we see the hari nama party. They all raise their arms to greet us. But the hour of reckoning draweth near so we take off quickly. At the shop he takes his usual leave and I pass the house that taught choc-o-lot to talk-a-lot where the chain is being locked. I take the pedaler’s ramp to the bear’s house and then the wharf road takes me past cruisers and tandems on the way to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa where the kalarupa takes me up to the sandhya. Last night there were sixty people for the ceremony and tonight there were two.
Deep within the far off jungle the chill of the evening has called Guru-Garuanga Gandharvika-Giridhari out to dance beneath the waning moon.

Gandharvika pulled up her hood and went to see her lord
The service there had increased so many folds.
All around the chariots and elephants made a tumultuous sound
Characters there turned it into sacred ground.
Sages would later say that is the place of highest worship
Gandharvika in that hood thinks of their small village and wants to bring him back
The leis flow along with the consciousness of the day
From the village to the natural bridge the gecko and I alternate between spinning and sprinting. The cruisers pull over while the racers show us who the real pedalers are. East cliff is full of people with their dogs and kids. The west cliff has the sufferer thakura Today there is also some suffering competition so many are walking on the pedaling path. The gecko and I have to carefully weave in and out of them. From the bridge the traffic is lighter and our speed picks up. We circle the spinner’s church and then look over the mountain men on their ramps and such. From there we pass the shop where the gecko parts and I have to charge back to make the sandhya. There are fresh leis and clothes to be put on and the kalarupa has to push me all the way to the door to make the time.
It’s a miracle mom that these festival days come off as smooth as they do. Guru-Gauranga Gandharvika-Giridhari take rest dancing and dancing through the night.

On to Sri Vrndavana to get an outfit made the tailor makes the dhotis backward they'll need to be replaced
For Nrsimhacaturdasi there needs to be a new dress but if the tailor makes the outfit wrong it has to be replaced.
Against all odds the seamstress takes the cloth in hand and plans a wide sash for Mahaprabhu and adds some pleats from a different cut to Gandharvika's sari cause the tailor made it backwards and that's what it took to be replaced.
Celebrating the Lord's appearance devotees gather near and the seamstress is so expert that they may never hear that the tailor made it backwards and it had to be replaced.
Oh the gecko and i offer repects to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa and then to the main road. We catch some air on the bridge over the first highway and one of the beasts is happy that we didn't make him wait 'cause we go to slow. Going left at the rodeo creek we speed to the harbor and then the corner to the reviewing stand. The cruiser king joins us to the tennis park. Between the lakes the sufferers are out and people watch from under umberellas. The king and the gecko take their leave when we get to the soccer pitch and i return to the long and winding. The kalarupa takes me from folding my palms to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa to the sandhya.
Bhakta Blade is on the case tonight and we help Guru-Gauranga Gandharvika-Giridhari into their Lotus Nails dress. They are so happy to dance this evening in anticipation of the appearance of their topmost devotee tomorrow. "Sometimes when i put things in even the slightest different place I can't find them 'cause I think 'I never put them there'". We laugh and enjoy serving together. "i've got high hope for you" i tell him. "If you go off and leave i think i'll cry". By then the lord has been put into his bed and we shut the door and turn out the light.

The conductor calls out all aboard
Come for darsana of the Lord
Present yourself to serve
Get released from the illusionary curve
Dandavats as we pass come along come along
There's Mahaprabhu wearing jewelry with blue
Contrast points from y'all know who y'all know who
Come in come in be seen by the Lord
Giridhari has a mix of gold and silver too
Boarder on his dhoti brown-buttoned coat gives the clue gives the clue
For herself Gandharvika chooses this shade of blue
Radha's own, hers alone
Come for darsana of the Lord come for darsana of the Lord
Now complete the scene, purple rose leis suspended in an animated way while the sankirtan party swirls and dances by the bay
Come for darsana of the Lord
After the respects are offered to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa I sprint along with an asrama vasi who is riding on a beast. I stay even for a few bends but by then the beast takes charge. When I get to the main road paving is in progress so I take the right to avoid the delay. The gecko is at the second go light and we speed along to the hospital curve where we bend to the left over the Rodeo creek. All the way to the harbor keeping the tennis park on our left. Through the harbor to the natalasa which is waiting for the next show when the toffee nose takes the stage to shoot his green pen in everyone's face. A rare day when the triangle is so empty we can go through without a beast in sight. With the gecko taking his leave I go on to the long and winding past a few mountain men who are climbing the hill of the clank of the aluminum bat. The sandhya is cheering to see the kalarupa and I coming in so the folks won't be disappointed.
With the season changing Vamsi dasa babaji is still on his horse of a different color riding into Marakata mani puri talking like a pirate and Guru-Gauranga Gandharvika-Giridhari are engaging in their night activities wearing their dress that has the same name. 1

There's a color combination missing here
What it is is crystal clear
Yellow and red so sing the children of the avenue
There's the seamstress planning the next outfit over there
Telling I should be aware of any designs They might like to wear
Yellow and red so sing the children of the avenue
What an outfit for Gaura Purnima
A thousand people coming to be seen
Singing bhajanas and playing tambourines
Meditating on just what each word means
Yellow and red so sing the children of the avenue
Leis of marigolds and roses tie together the yellow, red and mango shade
Palms folded to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa I meet the gecko at the main road and we cross to the southland once again. Stopping at Mahamuni's post box we sprint to the top of the hill behind the florist. We take the wharf road to the east cliff where the sufferers are in full. Left on the redone road we pull along a fixed gear freak. Singing aloud at the boardwalk we take my stars by surprise then we turn to the leaping monque. The local finest are observing us from behind. At the go light we make the right and the finest continue ahead. At the shop the gecko takes off to close his shop and I sprint to the long and winding just in time to bow to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa and take the kalarupa to the sandhya. The assembly calls “come blow your horn” they're eager for the ceremony to begin.
The baby blue dress on the chilly night allows them lots of cloth to sway around in for Their evening pastimes.

The dancing actor is in town today
As the month of kartik begins once again
He's got the blue flower over his left ear
Way beyond mere power with his topmost devotee
The dancing actor is in town today
In his topaz and amytheist clothes
Dancing to attract the mind of all we want to invite him into our heart
Please be our only, one and only let our servitude start
Rose leis short but at least not too heavy
We do respect the ratha-bhojan-vrksa and sprint as best we can over the construction over the snob hill and on to the opal cliff. At the sunny cove some one of the teams is waiting the light out in the balancing act but when it changes the gecko and I jump them. They can't believe it but they soon recover and give chase to the harbor. They continue to the boardwalk while we go to watch the sign being changed at the natasala. We decide to go through town and greet the leaping monque. Winding around with the street all the way to see that the sufferer thakura has had his hair streaked with gold and red. Staying ahead of the beasts we come to the natural bridge take the right and go back only to see that Seymour has gone home for the night. The spinner's church has incense pouring out the windows and so we circle. The mountain men are in force but the skaters are getting their tricks in too. Around the school of the toffee nose who loves to flip his green pen to the reviewing stand we go past the house that taught choc-o-lot to talk-a-lot but we keep the straight line to the pedaler's ramp the bear says “hey!” down to the wharf road where the beasts gang up on us on the main road one skater pass us going the opposite direction but on the same side of the road shouting “Go Lance!” the ratha-bhojana-vrksa watches us bow out heads and the kalarupa is up to taking us both back for the sandhya.
The pure name flows over the tongue of the devotee smooth as milk and as this dress is as fine as Chinese silk. Yes that's the touch that kills!

Going all the way to Navadvip to hear at the divine master's feet
Recording to be published and sent across the known universe
White silk satin adorned with gold along with crystal crowns and turban break the light in colors to be seen only with the eyes you've not used yet leis with roses, marigolds, zinnias and petals red rhododendron the saffron ones have all been cut perhaps a spell coming across the universe finally got them
The gecko and I start off together today to bow to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa. Touring the southland to the main road on our way to Mahamuni's post box. From the post box to the wharf road dodging beasts as we go. The opal cliff is ready for us today without ups and downs. The sufferers are in force as each day along the east cliff. Lots of people with their dogs playing in the pedaler's lane so we have to weave between them the posts and the beasts to get to the house of costumes. Then the redone road where old toffee nose jumps from the bushes and on the road he quickly slashes his dear most green pen all along the ground of this sentence just to feel himself far superior in intelligence to us others at the shop the gecko takes his leave and I go to the reviewing stand where cruiser king joins me there and gets me to Ms. Gault who delivers us through the triangle we sprint between the lakes where one fire is already going out but another is just begun as we return to the opal cliff the king excuses himself and I go on to the wharf road to the long and winding where I fold my palms to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa and the kalarupa once again ushers me to the sandhya where everyone is already in waiting for the clock to strike the hour and begin again the age old worship.
Slipping into the Hiranya kasipu night dress they dance late into the night as the overcast reflects the heat and cuts the chill just a bit.

She asked me how long I'd been a preme and chanted sixteen rounds a day. Even though I knew the answer I knew it was best not to say. Didn't she have a calendar? Was it just too well hid? Because when I asked if this was the outfit for Govardhana Puja she just flashed a preppy smile and said, “shut up kid!”
“I'm going to Navadvipa for sixty-four days. I only wish it could be for more. We'll go up to Gurudeva's veranda and be sitting on the floor. I'm going to take both my children won't that be rad? It will positively the best Christmas vacation that they've ever had.” The leis maker told me today. I replied, “No more pencils, no more books, no more teacher's dirty looks, huh?” “And we'll be living in the jala mandir seva asrama where Bengalis and Russians, Americans and Latinos ride bright shinny rickshaws I've got an ipod that turns into a flashlight.
Leis of spray roses and heavy metal sunflowers in the center that pull them toward their lotus feet and pleases old toffee nose who pompously drags his green pen under this sentence.
The ratha-bhojana-vrksa awaits my folded palms and then Mahamuni's post box is expecting to see the gecko and me also. Then we go laughing through the village one more time. Bouncing along the opal cliff the alert orange man says the crew will finish the paving tonight. From the point of the hook we go around the soccer pitch and then nip and tuck to the toad's place. He comes out to join us for the first time in a long time. The natasala has a new world disorder tonight and the people are standing in line already. We take the corner and the three of us pass in review to the triangle. The gecko needs to take his leave so the toad and I go on to the harbor and then between the lakes where the sufferers are celebrating the return of warmer weather. At the costume house the toad takes his leave and I go on to the big road and the long and winding. There is team training for something and I tag along for a couple of miles even past the ratha-bhojana-vrksa where I bow my head. The kalarupa falls in line. At the asrama I take my leave and blow the horn for the sandhya.
The moon is getting smaller now and so Guru-gauranga Gandharvika-giridhari stay in tonight even though they've dressed up in their deep within the far off jungle dress.

Oh, yes let me introduce this outfit to y'all
Even though it might send the seamstress up the wall
Mahaprabhu's peacock been around many years
Swooned in a backdrop of appliqués and mirrors
It's been around since Thirteenth Street when time dictated change
Gaura Purnima's outfit inspired the seamstress “rearrange”
Hope you know this name came from our master's poem
Just as every child has it's own name, not just the day of birth,
All outfits have their qualities that call up joy and mirth
Thanks for listening to this story of the oldest of but in a new dress
i think OPT put Gandharvika's choli on backward, i know he put her choli on backward.
Leis of roses both large and small swing round their necks in artistic caress.
Taking off to see the dawn's early light but first of course the ratha-bhojana-vrksa gets a tip of the helmet. The gecko is waiting at the post box of Mahamuni. We take off for the snob hill and laugh all the way through the village,. The opal cliff sees us still giggling and watching the tide roll out. At the point of the hook one of our folks has driven especially for one single slice of pizza. Between the lakes a couple of cruisers are in front of us so we drop them as we make it to the redone road. Going straight ahead on to the railroad bridge and the pavement around the boardwalk we come into town with sikhas flying. The dawn's early light keeps us a while. Then we break off to Seymour's museum and public trail that runs near the abhavana mauli. The sufferer thakura has a coat on for the evening. We circle the spinner's church and salute the kutir of OPT. One lonely looking lad is watching the empty mountain man's ramps. We slide on by and loop around the trader. Up the road the gecko takes his leave and I try to keep sprinting as hard as I can. The lights of the shops tell me the sun is going down and I didn't bring my light on this trip to town. I call back to the asrama. A pair appears bearing the light and thanks me for practicing “safe cycling”. I bow to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa and the kalarupa follows in the shadow of both my light and those of the beasts.
Without need for such electric light Guru-Gauranga Gandharvika-Giridhari have their own effulgence to split the night and reveal that Giridhari is a brahmacari.

Posse’s riding again
Getting the old colors out
On a full moon night in the month of Kartik
Yes they’re back in the saddle
They’re looking to travel
To the altar and become a painting away off in the near east
Aruna hara posse’s riding again
Guru-Gauranga and Giridhari with Gandharvika on their left side
In their pink and green there’s just no place for misconception to hide
Calling all the sufferers from maya’s rising tide
Aruna hara posse’s riding again
The gecko and I start off together and bow our heads at the ratha-bhojana-vrksa. We cross into the southland on the way to Mahamunii’s post box. Today there are no aromas of Mother Nature in the lion’s park. At the wharf road no beasts are there to keep us waiting so we sprint all the way to the opal cliff. At the sunny cove we take the left and see that the natasala is waiting for the next show. We go into Saint Dagwood’s park for a circle and visit the trader. Another port sider is in line ahead Interestingly enough also a pedaler. The gecko and I go back around the trader’s and up to the corner where I take the left to the reviewing stand while the gecko takes leave to close his shop. I sneak as quietly through the triangle as I can and down the pedaler’s ramp. The bear is glad to see me. I make a left at the soccer pitch and go to the east cliff where the tide is out and the sufferers are treading what little water there is where the shoreline was a couple of hours ago. Coming up at the dahlia mauli I sprint to the tennis park. From there I take the right on the toad road and go all the way to the basketball park on the newly surfaced street. On to the wharf road and then the main one. The long and winding is on the right and I’ve taken the pavement to avoid the rough road that is scheduled for paving next week. At the light I slip over, under around and through the pavement back onto the street. There is a deer to escort me to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa. I fold my palms and push the pedals harder. The kalarupa comes along to pace me up to the sandhya. We go along the back drive in an attempt to “take the temple by surprise”.
With saradiya rasa yatra just last night and krsna left the arena the gopis began to search for him. They asked so many different things even one doe. One year the boy sloka slinger was reading that and spelled each word so we wouldn’t get it confused with tonight’s outfit’s name, “O deer dough, have you seen Krsna?” Giridharii’s earring came out and landed in his chodder and then Gandharivka’s landed in the pleat of Om Paramahamsa Thakura’s dhoti. He couldn’t be humble about it. While undressing Gandharvika he gave me a few stupid pujari points for her jade necklace. “I wondered how you got it to stay there” it was elementary a short incantation and a couple of mudras and there it was.

P-U-R-N-I-M-A that’s we call full moon day
Dress them up in blue and white
Saradiya rasa yatra is tonight
‘Cause why? ‘Cause Kartik starts today
‘Cause why? ‘Cause Kartik starts today
‘Cause why? ‘Cause Kartik starts today
‘Cause why? ‘Cause why? ‘Cause why? ‘Cause why?
Leis of pink and white roses trimmed neatly set off by ones
who come to the fore knowing none others can take their place they
agree to show their face
From the asrama door to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa i bow my head and go on to the hospital curve and make the left over the rodeo creek to the tennis park. Another left and the gecko is waiting we speed along to the soccer pitch in a clockwise direction this time. Through the opal cliff and back to the village. The up the hill behind the florist to the point of the hook where people eagerly line up to pay a large sum for tea and a slice. Between the lakes the people are building their bon fires for the evening when the fog and chill set in. Around the corner we go to the reviewing stand. We sneak through the triangle and down the pedaler's ramp to the bear and a second round the opal cliff. At the lion's park the gecko and i turn to each other and say "i don't know it smells like mother nature to me". On we go to the main road and then the long and winding one. There the gecko has to take leave and get back to the shop and i have to fold my palms to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa one more time and have the kalarupa show me to the sandhya. The ceremony begins on time.
The saradiya rasa yatra takes place tonight so in their Lotus nails nightdress Guru-Gauranga Gandharvika-Giridhari steal away to dance beneath the light of the moon the moon dance under the light of the moon.

You've heard about the cowherd girls of Vraja
That their worship is the very best
Monday so they dress up in red silk
Later they cover it with peacock feathers
Real opulence beyond compare
Leis of petal roses light, fragrant and elegantly fine.
The construction is almost finished I see after folding my palms to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa so I go harder to meet the gecko over the bridge over the first highway. We chatter a bit as we circle the reviewing stand through to Ms Gault and the harbor. Between the lakes a couple of casual pedalers are ahead but we put on a sprint to drop them. Around the soccer pitch we go to the bear and on to the redone road. The gecko takes his leave and I turn to sprint straight to the sandhya. The long and winding welcomes me with a single deer who salutes as I go by. Bowing to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa the kalarupa takes me along and I gasp a little but keep up and the sandhya smiles as I come in well ahead of the tag.
The moon is just about full and Guru-Gauranga Gandharvika-Giridhari put on their baby blue nightdress and dance all night.

When you’re leery, feeling misdirected
Confusion fills your mind they’ll clear it up
Like saffron mercy particles the angels are sent down
If you’re on sankritan on a busy street and illusion’s darkness comes so hard they’ll lighten your heart
When times get rough and shelter just can’t be found
Like saffron mercy particles the angels are sent down
When guru maharaja appeared here with his torch of divine knowledge
He’ll open our eyes
So if you need a guide just cry Krsna Krsna and run along behind
And like saffron mercy particles the angels will purify your mind
It all started at the asrama door when the wind was blowing and the gecko and I thought perhaps not to go out but the ratha-bhojana-vrksa called for respect and we answered. Along the main road to the hospital curve over Saint Dagwood’s creek and past the tennis park (no I won’t consider revising Toffee nose), We turn to the redone road and see some one sitting just outside the natasala but there is no show this day. Sprinting to Saint Dagwood’s park and circling the trader we go on to the leaping monque. Chasing a pack of fg freaks all the way to the hill of the manahatana we take the left and they carry on. Next is the natural bridge along the way to the great blue whale. Turning there to the west cliff where the sufferer thakura stands looking happy with a fresh lei today. There we make the break for the spinner’s church and on to the ramps of the mountain men who are exhibiting all their tricks. Through Saint Dagwood’s park we chase on to the shop where the gecko takes his leave. I have some time today so I make a wide sprint around the harbor and between the lakes to see all the sailboats floating by. Under the sun the temperature feels so warm that I have to open the sweat shirt a little. The soccer pitch has a big match going on but I choose not to watch but head directly to the long and winding where the ratha-bhojana-vrksa accepts my folded palms. The kalarupa gives chase and we nip and tuck all the way to the sandhya. Some of the folks wave as we go by and the sandhya is turning cartwheels to see me there in time.
In the ninth tonight as the night dress and the moon is getting fuller. The cool of the evening keeps them inside to enjoy their night’s activities.

Some several devotees rolled up for darsana of Guru-Gauranga Gandharvika-Giridhari today
Seeing the outfit I heard them say
That's the color of the foam on butter
With rust and avocado flowers embroidered on the kirtas and coli
The veil and chodders are beautifully sheer gently lifted in the breeze with the rhythm of their dancing.
Leis of roses so sweet their fragrance knocked the devotees off their feet manjaris in Giridhari's such a touch.
With respect to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa I meet the gecko on the bridge over the first highway and we sprinted around a corner and over Saint Dagwood's creek. We pass the tennis park and turn on to the redone road. Some one is washing the pavement in front of the natasala while we speed by the shop and on to the reviewing stand. Coming up to the triangle the gecko checks a clock and notices that he's late to take leave. I pass the house that taught-choc-o-lot to talk-a-lot to the harbor. Once again the wind has the boats in. Between the lakes people are trying to keep warm. The wharf road once again brings me to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa where I fold my palms. The kalarupa has to pull me to the sandhya but still I blow the horn just in the nick of time.
Guru-Gauranga Gandharvika-Giridhari wear their yellow and gold silk night outfit hiranya kasipu. The nights are getting chilly so they go directly to their soft bed decorated with aromatic flowers.

Panjika says it’s Ekadasi today
I could have eaten the parama anna but I’m following gurudeva
Arranging my life to be his humble slave
Blue stars on his dhoti and cape childhood super heroes can’t even come close
Giridhari is the source of the power of all of those
Gurudeva teaching me to be the slave of his humble slave
Presenting ourselves to be seen by them sitting on their teakwood throne
Awaiting the day when they’ll call us back home
Once we’ve been posted as the slave of their humble slave.
“I thought the leis were longer when I made them” the maker told me. “Well it’s not how long you make them, it’s how you make them long.”
The gecko meets me right at the door and we speed to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa where I bow my head. We pick up more speed to the southland and through the village to the opal cliff. Between the lakes the sufferers are huddled together to take shelter from the wind. The natalsala is still dark. The gecko has to take leave at the shop and I go on to Saint Dagwood’s park and to the place where the hari nama party usually is. They aren’t there again this week so I sprint on to the corner and the reviewing stand. Through the harbor the boats are in their places. Next is the wharf road and the soccer pitch. On the long and winding I bow to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa and the kalarupa pulls me back for the sandhya.
The moon is getting full and the wind is blowing so Guru-Gauranga Gandharvika-Giridhari stay inside for their nighttime enjoyment even though their night dress is called deep within the far off jungle.

So you’re going to the seva asrama where the aratis are precisely on time
Remembering the Deities there this outfit’s name, parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme, are words that go well in this rhyme.
The seamstress has put elegant silvery pleats in Gandharvika’s skirt
The same cloth is in Mahaprabhu’s chodder and Giridhari’s kirta .
Leis of tube rose, tea rose, sunflowers from the Deity’s land
Respect to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa and on to the main road. The beasts push me straight along to the post office. I pass the florist and the field of the clank of the aluminum bat. The gecko meets me at the whaler’s and we see people going into the house that taught choc-o-lot to talk-a-lot. Posting the letter at the office we head for the leaping monque. From there we pass the place of the fixed gear head’s death by ups truck. The bhavanaless mauli sends us to the museum and beyond to the sufferer thakura. Many are praying at his feet today must be a contest coming. Through the maze back to circle the spinner’s church and sprint over the railroad bridge and look out at the mountain men riding figure eights. From there we circle the trader and keep Saint Dagwood’s park on our left. At the shop he takes his leave as he is want to do each day and I sprint past the reviewing stand to Ms. Gault to avoid the triangle. Taking in the harbor and the boats between the lakes I pass some messengers on the way to the wharf road. The soccer pitch is on the left and soon I’m on the long and winding folding my palms to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa and racing the kalarupa to blow the horn to begin the sandhya.
Act as a lion on the chase and at home act as a lion with your cubs. Offered on Nrsimhacaturdasi this dress is ready for them to go out dancing under the stars once again.

Mahaprabhu in white satin agreed to descend
to please his devotees and to make some new friends.
Some came to explain to him philosophy they could not defend
No matter how they argued he won in the end
Unparalleled beauty one of his chief weapons
“Come to the kitten!” it's strong voice beckons
Seeing Mahaprabhu's turban how can I look upon anything else one devotee reckons
Starting out late offering respect to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa still I met the gecko the bridge over the first highway and we sprinted over under around and through Saint Dagwood's park. Then off to Bhakta Blade's kutir he was riding his beast and with a wave of his hand he directed us to Seymour's museum and the great blue whale. From there we sped along the west cliff to the sufferer thakura. He's got fresh lei on today it's been changed since the rain. Then we turn and circle the spinner's church. Next we look over the mountain men doing their extreme stunts getting ready for the extreme show of skills. At the shop the gecko takes leave and I go as fast as my dui charkas will take me. The ratha-bhojana-vrksa sees my folded palms and smiles. The kalarupa shines a light bright enough for the both of us to make the sandhya in seconds flat.
The lotus nails are the weapons used to rip the chest of Hiranya kasipu. This evening Bhakta Blade dresses them and tells me of private muni learning marshal arts which brings to mind a large animal gracefully dancing across the stage. Then Guru-Gauranga Gandharvika-Giridhari begin their own graceful dance under the stars.

A society girl came down from heaven today
She wouldn’t eat anything that wasn’t cooked in ghee
If she were offered something not cooked in ghee she’d get up and scream
Elegant leis today rose petals with zinnias and whole roses showing their faces to all who come for darsana
From folded palms at the ratha-bhojana-vrksa to the post office of Mahamuni and then to one on snob hill and then one in the triangle. The gecko and I are looking to do a mailing but the offices are all closed and they only have automated centers for that and we’re balking at the prospect. In the end we have to surrender. Then around Saint Dagwood’s park like so many times before. Back by the shop where the gecko takes leave as usual and I go back around the corner to the reviewing stand. Next to the harbor and the tennis park and the florist’s shop where the toffee nose is. Around the southland avoiding a cat crossing the street since that goes against a Hindu superstition and then bow to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa and the kalarupa brings me back for the sandhya.
Riding on a horse of different color, Vamsi dasa babaji enters Marakta Mani Puri talking like a pirate and Guru-Gauranga Gandharvika-Giridhari take advantage of the warm night once again to dance out under the stars.

A voice from the sky said “the dice are loaded”
Even though everyone then knew still evil Sukuni challenged dharmaraja Yudhiisthira to a gambling match and his religious principals wouldn’t let him say no.
The seamstress once tried to define the outfit names but soon threw up her hands leaving me the rest so the story goes.
Marigold and rose leis today with petals that make them long enough but not too big to carry around.
I pass the ratha-bhojana-vrksa with my head bowed in the usual way remembering the words of gurudeva. At the main road the gecko joins me and we take the path of the southland to the wharf road. Next we stop to speak with the trader for a minute or two. We wave to the bear and venture into the orchard. Coming out we join the big street and swing by the opal cliff to the point of the hook. We dust a few slower pedalers from behind on our way to the natasala. There people are waiting for the second show. Full speed ahead to Saint Dagwood’s park and we circle it and return to the shop for the gecko to take his leave. I take a left at the corner and squeeze through the triangle on my way to the bridge over the first highway. From there I take to the sidewalk to avoid the uneven surface and get back to the long and winding. The kalarupa is cheering me on and together we race to the sandhya. A neighbor says “Hey! I usually see you in my car but not tonight.’ Yes” I reply “well it’s good to be home, huh?” “Yes” I say again “It has been a good day for pedaling too” He smiles and says “Have a good evening!” and I go on to blow the horn for the ceremony.
They call this one baby blue ‘cause there are names for all the other outfits Guru-Gauranga Gandharvika-Giridhari have and this one is baby blue.

october 5
Puspes form effulgence over their heads
Puspes in the air, puspes everywhere. Mahaprabhu and Giridhari wear puspe armbands on this puspe day. A puspa paka from Giridhari's belt put the puspas around his legs; Puspes form the boarder of Gandharvika's sari taking them around her head and framing her face. And the deep blue backdrop shows that New York's a go-go and everything looks nice. Marigolds and a handful of roses in the leis make old toffee nose grammar suck his green pen right up his toffee filed nose.
The gecko and I are pedaling past the ratha-bhojana-vrksa when three deer watch. We seem non-threatening so they take a long look before trotting off into the trees. We go on down the main road through the southland and past Mahamuni's post box. Through the village but avoiding the opal cliff and the construction. The point of the hook has sufferers lined up round the corner for tea and a slice. The gecko and I weave in and out of families pedaling together, couples on tandems and teams in pace lines. At the shop he takes his usual leave and I go through Ms Gault to get around the triangle. The house that taught choc-o-lot to talk-a-lot a chain is being put up to lock the parking lot. Through the harbor and between the lakes where a house has it's Halloween costumes for sale or rent. I pas the soccer pitch on the wharf road and come once again to the long and winding one, offer respect to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa and follow the kalarupa to the sandhya.
When the devotees present themselves before the lord and see him in this Chinese silk nightdress it's the touch that kills all desires for happiness in this mundane world. And now they go out for dancing under the stars of this cool evening.

Three personalities descended on the request of Guru deva came to search for their lost servants at the shore of the Monterey bay.
They are calling everyone to come along to the Viraja shore and join in their divine service and be free from here ever more.
They aren’t in their traditional colors today and Gandharvika’s skirt has an extra ruffle on the bottom since it came out that much too short. Mahaprabhu in royal blue and Giridhari wearing yellow with red and blue jewels;
Leis of roses that were picked from the lot where gurudeva parked downtown on his last visit here the maker told me today. Some have their faces out to meet the world and some flowers have the small white centers that also are looking over the assembly of devotees.
The gecko meets me at the mailbox and we offer respect to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa and sprint into the southland. We pass Mahamuni’s post box on the way to the lion’s park. Through the village and dodging the construction. Between the lakes the sufferers are coming out after the rain. We see that the natasala is open to day and the stars are playing. The gecko has to take leave to close his shop and I have to sprint all the way back to fold my palms to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa. I pull the kalarupa behind me and make the sandhya check his watch and once again I’ve beaten the tag.
The weatherman says that the clouds have all gone and there will be no more rain so Guru-Gauranga Gandharvika-Giridhari are anxious to dance under the stars tonight.

You’ll need a lot of krpa to understand Mahaprabhu’s identity. It comes from he himself.
He thinks I wish that I could take my best devotee’s mood and sentiment and then I could taste the qualities she relishes in me.
So today the yellow of his dhoti combines with the blue of her sari then mahaprabhu is in green
“These zinnias are from the bush in my yard!” the leis maker told me this morning, the roses came from around the area also.
Much like yesterday I folded my palms to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa and then I got on down around the southland. Having met the gecko we went on to the traders where we circled around and went on to the sufferer thakura. It’s a big rain predicted to fall so the sufferers are all battening down the hatches. Around the natural bridge there are people taking pictures and then back to their pedaling. The gecko and I pass the harbor where they are all getting ready too. Some people are gathered at the natalsala but so far “no rain no rain” has happened. The gecko takes leave to close the shop and I need to make double time to get in for the sandhya. No one is there to see the ceremony performed but the show need go on.
With the mugginess of the night Guru-Gauranga Gandharvika-Giridhari would like to get out in the far off jungle.

She’s there with bells on her sari in shades of green and purple
Celebrating her birthday sometime back
OPT combines chokers to make a necklace for Mahaprabhu but the shade of green turns it into stealth points.
Leis of lilies light and fluffy of white, fuchsia and yellow
Now it’s time for witnessing the stars early in the morning so with quick respect to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa I make the right on the main road even though I thought it better to go left the alert orange sent me on the right path. The gecko meets me at the light before the whaler’s. Sprinting around the post office and Saint Dagwood’s park the stars are clear. Back around the Trader’s to the school and the reviewing stand. The triangle is empty and I pass through it fast to make it for the sandhya. The gecko is along for this one as we come to the long and winding. The ratha-bhojana-vrksa is surprised to see us both and the kalarupa is gasping to keep up.
It’s a miracle mom, that the clear skies are still out this evening. They beckon Guru-Gauranga Gandharvika-Giridhari to dance all night.
