When it came time for the Janmastami outfit
A suggestion came from a young fellow
“what about red and yellow?”
taking this to the seamstress, she listened to what was said
and expressing her agreement she nodded her head
“why not yellow and red?”
as the curtain opened at midnight the devotees began to bellow
“such beautiful red and yellow!”
leis of petals and whole roses
extend almost to their toeses
“what about red and yellow”
gecko and I take off for the navapatra stopping for a quick launch. Around the soccer pitch. The wharf road leads on to the long and winding where the ratha-bhojana-vrksa sees the folded palms and lets me pass. The cyber highway has friends talking to the roadies. Soon the roadies have gone off to the village and around to the tennis park. Gecko takes leave and the toad takes his place up to his gym. There the toad takes leave too. I go on around the beach where the sufferers are getting ready for going home. The sandhya is waiting for me as I pass the bunnies on the path to the asrama. The deer are waiting to be fed but it’s time for the ceremony to begin.
from radhastami, comes the baby blue nightdress. the portion where the Ganga does not flow is the Radhadesa. But the Bengalis and the roadies have nothing in common, they don’t talk at all except to mention baby blue
