July the eighth what another hot and sticky day. Giridhari and Mahaprabhu watch the seamstress pull the Radhastami outfit right out of the Janmastami one. Nothing up my sleeve! But Giridhari has bangles along his arms. Two leis today. One of roses with some facing the kirtan. The other with sunflowers, roses, mums and tube roses. A lot of wild on this second day of the week in the humid heat Guru-Gauranga Gandharvika-Giridhari look like flower a child. And what great leis they are fragrance and appearance!
Another charge from the door of the asrama to the trunk of the ratha-bhojana-vrksa where i bowed my head. The southland to the post box up the snob hill and over the opal cliff. The hook of the point sees sufferers diving and surfacing on the white caps. Between the lakes a pair of cruisers try and catch up to me but i meet the gecko and we sprint ahead. The harbor sees the boats in spite of the heat. Maybe the week day has people hard at work. The corner and the school are next the gecko leads me on to the cruiser king's reviewing stand. At the triangle beasts are snapping at our heals. We put our heads down and the pull up and let us through. The gecko takes his leave but the toad joins me and takes me down to his shop. We go past a basketball match in progress. The soccer pitch is empty though. Around the pitch and to the east cliff and the sunny cove. From there the toad takes leave. i sprint up to the tennis park and into the parking lots. At the go light i'm able to beat the yellow and speed to the long and winding. i fold my palms to the ratha-bhojana-vrska and salute the sandhya and blow the shank.
Pralad-a-dad is night dress this evening. They take their time getting ready but in the end they are dancing all night long.
