You know what day it is when peacocks decorate Gandharvika’s sari
Giridhari has placed shooting stars on his yellow dhoti with rainbow cloak
And Mahaprabhu wears his bright orange pair of pants
What planet have you been on lately madhu? Or has their darsana placed you in that much of a trance?
The leis of tight folded rose petals dotted with whole flowers punctuated with green leaves.
A fresh wind blows against us peddlers today. The gecko and I respect the ratha-bhojana-vrksa takes our respect but we ask for leniency and not to blow too much wind our way. We cross the bridge over the first highway feeling the chill of winter. Unlike the other peddlers we’re seeing today though we aren’t covered in technology. The whalers are washing some cars as we pass. Then there are the jazzercises but the cruisers and casual peddlers are at home. The harbor sees the boats tied up to avoid the wind. Between the lakes the sufferers are trying to keep the fires burning. On the wharf road we pass the lieberry where at least one hundred school kids are studying at the computers as one. On the main road I take the turn onto the long and winding while the gecko goes along to his shop. The ratha-bhojana-vrksa eases up while I fold my palms and the kalarupa pulls me to the sandhya
A world of names and this one is baby blue cause in east Bengal the Ganges doesn’t flow
