Darsana of Guru-Gauranga Gandharvika-Giridhari
Mahaprabhu in mango color, Giridhari in yellow and Gandharvika’s beautiful blue sari
Blue sari for all to see causing material beauty to flee.
Rose and mum leis swaying to the rhythm of their dancing
Their pastimes of divine love enhancing
Offering respect to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa I quickly make it to the main road and then to the bridge over the first highway. The gecko was waiting there and we took the left to the tennis park. Through the harbor we crossed the railroad track and saw the natasala is dark for the next day or so. The school is out for summer and the cruiser king is watching us from his reviewing stand. The triangle is quiet too. On to the pedaler’s ramp we sprint over Saint Dagwood’s river and to the bear. Into and through the village to Mahamuni’s post box we go. Then the wharf road takes us back to the opal cliff and up to the florist shop. The gecko goes left there and I take a right back to the asrama. A child’s musical theater leader sees me and we fold our palms to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa. He must think it odd that I stop before the barn and fly up the steps to meet the sandhya and sound the shank.
For now Vamsi dasa babaji rides his horse of a different color into the Marakata mani puri talking like a pirate. The cool of the evening gives enough relief from the heat of the day to let Guru-Gauranga Gandharvika-Giridhari dance all night under the moon light.
