White silk satin
Mellow yellow gold
Use these colors Jagat Guru told
On my birthday for the Thakura’s outfit
Rhinestone mukuts
Giridhari has a silk turban
Seamstress added these along with Giridhari’s cape
Time to sing
Of his spotless character
Calls come in from all across the universe
Rivers of amrita
Flow into our hearts
Every time the rays get caught in the mukuts
And break in a thousand pieces cleansing our eyes
Of material dust
Leis of petals and roses
Shinning as their fragrance attracts noses
To come from all across the universe
And bow before jagat guru
Then the thakura’s lotus feet
Hammering under the first highway the road gets ruff
The wheels kicking up bits of dirt, sand and stuff
The roadies decide to cut this out of training
Along with the beasts It’s too draining
Sufferers feel the chill with fog rolling in
Murkha and I spin along the beach to meet the geese again
Round the harbor the boats re out
Dropping the cruiser king he shouts
“I’ll come for you in the treacherous triangle
leave you to tangle
with the fixed gear freaks”
accepting the challenge murkha and I sprint
all the way to the southland ‘till the king’s energy is spent
then Murkha is called to see
and bow before RBV
kalarupa takes him to the sandhya celebration
of Maha Mantra’s vibration
called in by the kernel of divine love
with his voice from above
back to the soft gold and yellow
for taking rest It’s made mellow
like a lioness with her cubs
laying the Thakuras in their beds he gives their legs a rub
take their fatigue away
to see them again on Sunday
