Look close now
You'll see them they're hiding
In the sari and all around
Parrots as mystical as those seen by Mahaprabhu
On his way through
Jarikandha forest ground
Look higher now
To see the effulgence like a flower sunburst
Quenching our eyes thirst
For unparalleled splendor
Check out the leis today
Mums roses and bougainvilleas
Pray for the name to wind himself so tight
In our ears he'll never take flight
To the southland to speak with the friends there
Heat melting everything in it's hot dry air
But down by the ocean it's a different world
Cool off watching sufferers in the curl
Between the lakes
The geese honk for goodness sakes
The natasala is waiting for the seventh
Right now a cool breeze would seem like heaven
I have to stop before I melt
Murkha hears the call of RBV and so must play the hand he's dealt
Folding his palms murkha prays
To srila gurudeva
That he makes it all the way
To the vaikalika maze
Welcomed by the private muni
Whose ready to light out yeah, he's a little loony
OPT is the hand on deck
To dress them in Prahlad-a-dad
And stell alles veck
The evening brings an anticipated fresh moonlight
So they can be comfortable to dance through the night
Well I'm looking through the eyes of a great society
When a muni with a filigree uttariya
Tied in a laxmi grantha
Smiles and hands me a card with
Garuda's pressed words
And to whom could I speak
And who would believe
I just came out from the altar
On my way to get the leis
Maker knows how wonderful sumanas flowers
Are so hides gardenias in the center
Along the mint leaves they have a pleasing aroma
And the puckawalla shakes his head
Says that's the difference 'tween
Us and him
Murkha and I are pedaling through the harbor
on dui cakra ratha pracar
Puckawalla sees this fun
And asks “ who changed your focus?”
Answer “some folks like to play scales forever and a day”
And he says “you should come back to that kind of class”
As Murkha and I giggle a bit
Picked up the yak tail fan
And wiped the cobwebs from each other's minds
That's just how it goes when your best friends
Born of the same soil
See only small differences as mountains
I take myself off to the shop
And Murkha follows the RBV
Call but kalarupa won't catch him It's plain to see
A large deer says “Gaura Premanandi”
As he opens the sandhya's gate
O deer dough have you seen Krsna?
But he can only say “he is available in this direction
Where the thakuras enjoy like anything all night long”
Torchlight of knowledge zigzags through maya's haze
The captain waits at the shore
It was Gaura Purnima when this electric green
Was first to be seen
Siva, sukha, narada all appeared to view
As today so many other friends are here
Seeing the thakuras and their leis of roses and sunflowers too
Hypnotized by captain zigzag's electric serpentine line of truth
Sprinting along the main street over the first highway
The clank of the aluminum bat where the knights play
Through the treacherous triangle quick as pedalers could
Passing a gathering in Saint Dagwood's
udila naksatranam may query and prod
in the end finds Murkha not so odd
up the beach hill circling the spinner's church
the sufferer thakura has a fresh leis on his perch
on the railroad bridge looking where ramps used to been
though now there are no mountain men
rounding the corner by the cruiser king
I take leave with Murkha in full swing
The RBV is waiting to see
The palms folded saying “genuflection unto thee”
The kalarupa appears to chase
Murkha back to the sandhya place
Greeted by the quail
Who fly and run from the trail
Krsna is a brahmacari, tonight's dress
Enoying their pastimes like anything they take their rest
Mahaprabhu has come looking for his lost servants
A combination of Giridhari (yellow) Srimati Gandharvika (Blue)
Dressing himself in green today
With roses but Giridhari is hiding the orchids in his lei
Hammering past RBV a pace line
Dusted murkha and I so bad it should have been a crime
Nothing to do but keep up our own pace
for soon they would vanish without a trace
dogs and Frisbees in Lion's park
playing 'till well after dark
skaters on the campa hatti hill
extreme stunts 'till one takes a spill
murkha and I watch the sufferers at the beach
seals on their rock stay just beyond reach
at the shop I return to work
while it's through the treacherous triangle for Murkha
call of the ratha-bhojana-vrksa keeps him alive
bowing there Kalarupa gives chase clear to the drive
the kernel of divine love welcomes him back
and says the sandhya will cut him some slack
deep within the far off jungle
where folks often bungle
the thakuras dance and play
right on till the break of day
searching for inner peace
sweet smelling flowers
in the cow pastures of vraja
massaging Giridhari's lotus feet
learning from Gurudeva
one day perhaps we'll get it right
stay strong enough
not give in and lose the fight
he's come to take us back home
to see Guru Gauranga Gandharvika Giridhari
with sunburst effulgence
yellow and blue exploding
leis so onederful they're twoderful even threederful
J.O.D. tells hrh “but he's a living sumanas child”
Rapidly go rapidly in pedaling flight
Murkha and I looking for gandha
With grace over head just might
Find it in the way of life
Panhandler outside playing a fife
A tune of opinionated strife
RBV calls and kalarupa gives chase
When Murkha shows his face
I sprint to the shop where the clock
Says it's time to close
The sandhya greets murkha with cecil Brunner
At the sayana rises a waning moon
Hiranya kasipu Soft gold and yellow
They take their rest quiet and mellow
