On the bank of the Ganga
In the year 1486
Even Advaita Acarya and Haridasa Thakura were dancing
Giving cows in charity we heard someone say
Mahaprabhu is on his way
Janmastami day in Calcutta
In the year 1896
A father prayed to every holy man
“let my son become a servant of the highest pleasure potency”
perhaps he'll save the world some day
in Tompkins Square park
in the year 1966
two young men were joyously dancing in kirtan
we heard someone say
Mahaprabhu's sankirtan movement is on the way
Reaching the limit of cleverness
In the year 2009
Devotees are again dancing in kirtan
Celestial fragrance in the air from the tube rose in the leis
It was Gaura Purnima day
Gecko and I take off for the highway in a fever pitch enjoying with the friends we find there. Back to cross over the first highway. A lone pedaler wearing the usual helmet but topped with a stuffed animal couldn't tell more than it looked like a dog the whalers were detailing with lightening speed the natasala is quiet right now. At the shop Gecko takes leave as I continue around the corner to the review stand and sneak through the treacherous triangle to the house that taught choc-o-lot to talk-a-lot. The parking lot is full and I continue to the harbor. Between the lakes the geese are trumpeting and the windmill is still vacant. The pitch is on the left as I sprint down the wharf road under the first highway. The long and winding takes me to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa I bow and the kalarupa chases me all the way to the sandhya.
With his lotus nails Nrsimhadeva killed the demon Hiranyakasipu. This nightdress offered on Nrsimhacaturdasi is between green and orange as nails aren't weapons but at the same time were used that way. So this one is called lotus nails. They dance all night after I lay them in their beds.
