Far off in northern India there is a place called Vrndavana
Where the queen of bhakti dressed in plum
She steals Giridhari’s mind ‘cause her service is second to none
Far off in Vrndavana
Mahaprabhu wearing deep blue
If you’re fortune is right his search will come find you
And take you for off to Vrndavana
Leis of roses and petals so well done follow the curve in their knees
As they dance far off in Vrndavana
Spinning to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa and folding my palms there
I see a couple of deer looking toward me as if thinking ‘this doesn’t look so harmful’ so they continue to chew on the grass there where they stand and I go on to the main road. There the gecko meets me and we cross the bridge over the first highway. The field of the clank of the aluminum bat has a football game being played on it and lots of folks waiting for the bus outside. At the whalers we pass a peddler out on his errands. At the post office a long line of beasts slow us down but soon we’ve negotiated both them and the triangle and are at the corner. There we go to the left and see the school and the reviewing stand where the cruiser king joins in for a spin. At the harbor we take the right and go between the lakes with the cruiser king in the lead.. There are a flock of cruisers there that bow to their king as we sprint on past them. At the wharf road the king and the gecko take their leaves and I go on to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa where I bow and pick up the kalaruapa who delivers me to the sandhya.
At the end of their day Guru-Gauranga Gandharvika-Giridhar get into their hiranyakasipu night dress and perform their night pastimes with such happiness that it causes all who witness to be struck with wonder.
