Mahaprabhu’s kirta is red and Gandharvika’s sari is orange.
The flowers on Giridhari’s chodder are yellow with green leaves around them. Mahaprabhu’s dhoti is blue and there are indigo stars on Gandharvika’s veil. Giridhari’s kirta is violet while his dhoti is gold. But this rainbow isn’t made of refracted colors of sunlight it was put together by the seamstress so to be worn on any day of the week.
“These leis are light in all ways today” the maker told me. “Some of the petals in this bag are challenged” she continued. “Is that a nice way of saying they’re rotten?” I asked. She just giggled. But the leis are their usual best in show quality.
Vayhu is at it again but the ratha-bhojana-vrksa convinces me to come on out and see all the teams out today. Pedaling to the big road and going around the opal cliff to see the sufferers there who are changing out of their wet suits. The hook of the point finds some cruisers pedaling the opposite direction but they all wave and squeeze their horns. Interesting the way they have the shinny streamers in their handlebars like the days of youth. The public radio is doing something there are few folks outside. The redone is empty maybe it's the time of day. The gecko is quick to join me through the triangle and down the new pedaler's ramp over the Saint Dagwood river. The bear waves as we pass. A unicyclist crosses the street in front as we wait on the light. The soccer pitch is hosting a game but it's hard to tell who is winning. The wharf road brings us to the main road. The gecko goes his way and i go back to offer respect to the tree and as fast as i can pedal back for the sandhya.
Pralad a dad tonight another Nrsimha caturdasi offering. The pannel skirt of Gandharvika is unique since this one is the only one that they are stitched on as she dances they sometimes get lifted in the gentle breeze. This evening they seem to want to dance all night so i turn out the light and let it be.
