A merry band of ‘genies’ moved into the Bowes’ house bringing their tangerine and off beat karatals offered a big feast while brees ran a wet bar talking of Goloka and chanting with Nyasi they saw Guru-Gauranga Gandharvika-Giridhari wearing their "I'm a lot of wild, I'm a sumanas child" dress with leis of roses, petals, leaves while a couple of whole flowers turned their faces outward.
A break in the rain for a little while today and I thanked the tree pedaling down for to see how the gecko had made it through the storm just before it returned. He smiled saying it had been rough. Slipping through the eastside triangle to the house that taught choc-o-lot to talk-a-lot and back down to the Saint Dagwood’s creek around the tennis park and between the lakes, the hook and the point up the big road and the long and winding welcomes me home and the ratha-bhojana-vrksa says “quickly quickly, it’s time for the sandhya!”
Rain returns as they slip into their ‘most blessed event’ nightdress and get ready for their nighttime pastimes. Even though it feels a little warm they still want their chodders.
