“I can understand that you didn’t have a calendar, that you were only in touch with the other folks and so you identified as the “Govardhana Puja outfit” but why couldn’t you ask some one here that knows?” I asked the seamstri, “Shut up kid,” she said. This outfit has thirteen pieces, three peacock feathers, and 493 pearls and you can talk for half an hour and not understand anything about it. Where did the garland flowers come from? Long time picking come from all around the land. There are purple ones and yellow ones and they’re all strung together symmetrically but they don’t look just the same.
The winding road that leads from the asrama door took me to the village, the wharf and then around to the shopper’s corner past the shop where the gecko is wrapped around the wheel. Today one of the folks from inside was locking the door and gave me a smile as I pedaled on at speed on the way to the twins and the public radio a rare trip around the back of the hospital and that invisible convenience store then returning for the sandhya
And for the second week the seamstress has kept the lion deep within the far off jungle so they've had to wear the most blessed event both friday and saturday nights. Who can understand the deep meaning and inner purpose for this lapse of memory?
