On the Ekadasi day we’ll go to take
Darsana of Giridhari in his cape
for him we’ll beg, we will plead and tell the people
to please apply their logic to the mercy of Mahaprabhu
and promise if they do they will find it quite astonishing
Also Srimati Gandharvika is there wearing a sari of many ruffles that break the light in the colors on the body of the peacock.
Leis of jonquils and roses so fragrant and so perfect in both size and weight Guru Maharaja must surely know his instructions are being followed
The gecko and I got out to the main street after bowing to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa and went on into the southland. We stopped at Mahamuni’s post box to see if either of the things he has ordered have arrived. On to the snob hill and into the village where the tourists go we laugh at the toffee nose who flips his green pen at us and sneers a little sneer. Up to the opal cliffs and see a fleet of recumbent peddlers coming toward us. We salute and they smile and ring their bells as they pass. Pointing to the hook we spin between the lakes and watch the sufferers collecting driftwood for fires later. The boats are out of the harbor and the natasala is ready for the second show of the day. We take leave as we do each day, the gecko to the shop and I to the sandhya, the last one before time springs ahead.
Since time is springing ahead this evening Sri Guru-Gauranga Gandharvika-Giridhari dress quickly in their Hiranya Kasipu nightdress. Gold and yellow a very soft and comfortable dress.
