Coming for darsana there is a man who says that he knows magic
He is full of wonderful sayings, with his long white beard he extends his arm indicating somewhere off in space. The devotees smile and nod to say they understand something of the place where Guru-Gauranga Gandharvika-Giridhari’s crystal crowns capture the light and the devotees dance like the rainbow of colors. This one offered on Vyasa puja with the singing of jaya gurudeva.
Leis have marigolds, tube and regular roses spiked with petals with fragrance whafting through the air causing all around to chant, dance, and lose material conception.
The gecko meets me right at the mailbox and we speed along to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa to bow our heads. The main road takes us to the bridge over the first highway. The field of the clank of the bat is quiet today but the whalers are singing as we sprint up the hill. Circling the post office back to the main road and the triangle. Stealthily crossing through we speed to the corner and around to the reviewing stand of the cruiser king. On to the harbor where boats are returning home. Between the lakes the sufferers have their bon fires started. A single pedaler passes us but we decide not to pursue. Instead we go along the east cliff and watch a pod of seals on the rocks. As we come upon the soccer pitch the gecko takes his leave and I continue to the long and winding. The ratha-bhojana-vrksa cheers me on and the kalarupa is puling me toward the sandhya. The motorcycle sloka slinger throws a flag but it’s over ruled.
On the ninth Srila Guru Maharaja appeared and this evening Guru-Gauranga-Gandharvika-Giridhari dance all night in the dress offered for that celebration some time ago.
