Sharp vest, dhotis pressed
Arm full of bangles that tops the rest
Devotees take as much darsana as they can
from when the sank blows till the bamboo fan
roses, petals, agapanthus, and gerbera daisies
Flows in time with their dancing are stunning leis
gold har, bead flowers, pearls with hearts,
this outfit, offered on Friday the thirteenth, is off the charts
Devotees take as much darsana as they can
from when the sank blows to the bamboo fan
Gecko and I are on the highway again. Mahamuni gives his association to the roadies while discussing some mahajanas. Campa hatti exit comes up and Gecko and I take off into the village while chattering about the sleeveless look for Mahaprabhu and Giridhari. Cruisers are out along the point of the hook. Gecko and I move in and around them to the harbor. The roadies go around the boardwalk along to Saint Dagwood’s park up to the corner where Gecko takes leave. I turn the corner to the treacherous triangle. It takes some fancy footwork to get through today but some how I make it. The tennis park is on the left as I dip down between the lakes coming up passing the sunny cove. A bunch of dogs with their handlers are barking near the beach. Wharf road sees that I go under the first highway. Ratha-bhojana-vrksa calls me and I fold my palms feeling encouraged to pick up speed by the team in race mode coming toward me. They are intense and moving fast. I see that the time is moving faster so I have to hammer the rest of the way. Returning via the back driveway where the deer and bunnies leap away from the clatter.
East Bengal is where the Ganges isn’t visible and so is called the Radhadesa. Made with blue and white silk asking the question should a blue god wear white? Yes when the outfit is baby blue just like Giridhari. They take their rest early as possible and think about going out dancing.
