We’re Americans now we’ve come from India into your town
We’ve become Americans now
The seamstress and cooks are from this land along with the pujari
It’s a natural fact
Two of those three makes us feel good, alright so we’ve taken our seats on the simhaasana Syama, Nila, and Aruna LIVE in the arena of the pure consciousness spotlight
Roses, daisies, orchids, leaves and wild flowers in the leis today fluffy not stuffy they are glorified by the beauty of Syama, Nila, and Aruna LIVE in the arena of the pure consciousness.
Once again the cyber highway called the gecko and I after we passed the ratha-bhojana-vrksa bowing in respect. There was a traffic jam on the highway today so it took longer. The exit came up and back to the lion’s park and the campa hatti. All the way to the point of the hook where the fixed gear freaks were waiting for a challenge. They decided this was it and so they took off in pursuit. At one go light they jumped ahead and thought it was over but gecko and I brought down the hammer and over took them at the natasala where gecko took leave for the shop. I went on the triangle via the reviewing stand. Down the peddler’s ramp to the bear and beyond the trader Around to the soccer pitch where I made the left on to the big road One of the folks saw me and said I looked too serious and moved to fast. Watching the sufferers on their boards for a minute or two and on to the wharf road. The long and winding took me past the ratha-bhojana-vrksa where I fold my palms and head in for the sandhya.
Bhakta Blade helps the Thakuras in to their nightdress, riding on a horse of a different color entering Markatamani puri talking like a pirate. Bhakta blade took the long way home but got there all the same.
Mahaprabhu’s mercy is looking for you
Wants to sweep you off your feet
Make you want to tell everyone you meet
of Sri Caitanya Mahaprahu, the golden avatar
Gurudeva has come so far
To teach us who we are
Remove the ahankara
Lets go for darsana of Sri Guru-Gauranga Gandharvika-Giridhari
In pink, white and silver superstar
Leis of roses and leaves from the farmer’s market via donation
The highway calls again after the ratha-bhojana-vrksa has been respected and gecko and I have crossed the main street. Around and around to the wharf road and the trader’s on to the bear back to the main street that meets the long and winding where I fold my palms to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa and return for Madhya-kalana arati. Repeat and this time through the lot of the migrant workers return in time for vaikalika bhoga offering and waking. One more time to the wharf road and on to the point of the hook where the recumbent riders are king today. The natasala is there waiting for next week when there will be shows three or four days. Taking leave gecko to the shop and I to the peddler’s ramp the trader takes me to the wharf road and on to the long and winding the ratha-bhojana-vrksa sees my folded palms and says go on past while the sandhya awaits. With everybody in the horn blows as the ceremony begins.
Under the waxing moon the lotus nails appear and Guru-Gauranga Gandharvika-Giridhari take rest a little later tonight they could dance all night.
Gurudeva has away to go back homeward
He has come to take the lost servants home
Come for darsana and swooning peacocks fill your eyes
Takes consciousness to the spiritual sky
The oldest of all has become part of a new dress
A lealthy life Mahaprabhu has brought
Leis of asrama flowers augmented by a few donations from the florists
Gecko and I respect the ratha-bhojana-vrksa and fly away to the southland. We come back to the main street over the first highway to the curve. The tennis park is on the left but gecko and I take the right to the natasala, which is dark till next week. Taking leave at the shop I go on to the harbor where the boats are in. between the lakes the geese honk at me. The windmill is closed for good now. A good old fixed gear freak is giving me the chance to chase him and keep my speed up.
Vraja was kissing santa claus and I saw them. The purple nightdress along with orange. Mahaprabhu has a dhoti white.
The white, smoky blue and purple are an old Friday dress
Miss America your favorite one, Srila Gurudeva, we need his mercy
We can’t over come material nature on our own
“These are the last fragrant flowers from my yard,” the leis maker told me
then came the lion’s birthday, in the days of yore performers wore “tear away jerseys” Giridhari’s kirta is covered with stones that began falling off at first touch. Yantra puri. Hyacinth leis are even better than before!
Gecko and I pedaled by the ratha-bhojana vrksa with our heads bowed. On to the highway of space Exiting at the lion’s park and laughing through the village around the hook of the point to the natasala taking leave there hammering back to the asrama for the celebration.
The seamstress was a bit disappointed to find out that one Nrsimha caturdasi outfit would be changed for another that is yantra puri would yield to the nightdress deep within the far off jungle. But that’s what happened and they were glad to call it a day and then dance all night.
The Avadhuta has cheated me! He told me that the Ganges is the Yamuna! Oh no sir in this dress the gold and silver flow together! So you are on the Yamuna side while remaining under the white rabbit here in Nadiya! “This dress is very elegant” Mahamuni exclaimed to the seamstress. She was surprised, still wishing that murka had left them in the yantra puri.
Gecko and I meet up under the shade of the ratha-bhojana-vrksa and pray that we don’t get swallowed again
Out on the main street over the first highway to the whaler’s and around the triangle. Circling Saint Dagwood’s park and returning to the reviewing stand. Once again through the triangle where we take leave the harbor has the boats all out but I’m on my way to the sandhya At the ratha-bhojana-vrksa I fold my palms and sprint all the way to the asrama
Taking rest on the soft bed the Deities are wearing their yellow and gold nightdress ready to engage in their night pastimes
Flew into California from Navadvipa with Gurudeva’s entourage it was an ecstatic flight
Getting this dress ready for the holiday the seamstress stayed up half the night
Some the outfit looks like it came from Russia’s tsar
The style might come from that Eastern Europe bazaar
Come and hear it shout “I shall not fight” and let the bow slip from his arm
Gandharvika wears her hood onto the field of the highest bhajan and a leis of hyacinth and roses with fragrance that call the lord home
Gecko and I salute the ratha-bhojana-vrksa on our way to the highway. The exit comes up and we cross over the first highway. Taking the left at the hospital curve right to the tennis park. the harbor with it’s boats to the corner that leads on to the reviewing stand where leave is taken, through the triangle to the peddler’s ramp the bear greets me and at the wharf road I go left and sprint all the way to the main street. Gently spinning to the long and winding where the ratha-bhojana-vrksa sees me fold my palms while becoming intense on the sandhya
And in the ninth Guru Maharaja appeared to invite us to dedication’s land. This nightdress celebrated that so many years ago. Quickly they dressed and prepared for the night’s adventure.
“We know what color the next outfit should be”
So sing the children of the seva asrama
“Mango, yellow trimmed in red”
I sang it to the seamstress and she agreed
So sang the children of the seva asrama
“ratna made by the one sold out to the beautiful lotus”
so sing of the children of the seva asrama
“leis to day of roses picked while they slept
those are big leis!” exclaimed one “Yes! Fluffy not heavy!”
so sang the children of the seva asrama
Gecko and I take off in a sprint past the ratha-bhojana-vrksa and onto the spacey highway. Where to get off no one knows. Over the first highway to the whaler’s and beyond to the triangle the corner comes and throws peddlers to the reviewing stand. Leave is taken there on to the harbor and between the lakes. The windmill still stands vacant. There’s a gang that’s over the hill and the soccer pitch comes on the left. The wharf road takes me to the long and winding where the ratha-bhojana-vrksa sees my palms come together. Hammering hammering on to the sandhya making it just under the tag.
Giridhari in white and it looks so right while Mahaprabhu and Gandharvika have baby blue. Engaged in late night pastimes we can’t see
All we can do is hope that one day maya will set us free
