When the peacocks from the oldest days swoon to be in the newest dress and Gandharvika’s choli is put on backward by the super excellent Bhakta Blade
Remember the corollary of Srila Prabhupada’s regs
A cool head beats cool legs
Off in the morning to bow to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa (oh come on toff that can’t be a fragment you stuck up…) Through the village and on to the opal cliff where the joggers are. Between the lakes the geese are back and they honk as we go by. Past the corner is Saint Dagwood’s park and from there we pass the kutir of Om Paramahamsa Thakura. A school bus load of kids are at Seymour’s museum so we just talk to the blue whale. We take the west cliff to the sufferer thakura who is wearing a hooded sweatshirt and new leis. We see the mountain men on their ramps and we sprint past the leaping monque. At the shop the gecko takes his usual leave and I spin on to the peddler’s ramp. I go on to the bear and the wharf road which returns me to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa where I bow my head again. The kalarupa takes me to the madyakalia arati.
While the nights cool off Guru-Gauranga Gandharvika-Giridhari lead us to believe they have taken rest. But then they sneak out to dance under the waxing moon.
