Gurudeva, what have we done?
Asked Mahaprabhu to come and sit on this teakwood throne?
Dressed he and Gandharvika-Giridhari in purple and yellow
Just listen to the devotees try to describe the mellows
Bowing reverently asking to be engaged in seva
To obtain their grace and thus become saved
From their lower nature in the causal ocean's wave
Leis of mums and roses put together in an expert way
Swinging to and fro while engaged in their supreme play
Today the gecko said to me “Oh what fun it all will be, if we pedal to a place where all talk is song and each step is a dance. Where all the water is nectar and the residents are all of completely spiritual substance”
So we offered respect to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa and took off along the main road. We went beyond the lion's park and the village. We laughed all along the opal cliffs where the sufferers were out in the afternoon sun. How could they know that such a place was just ahead? There were a couple of teams training but they just couldn't understand why we were so happy today. We pedaled along beside them in an effortless manner while they were working out. Once again we followed them up the high street to the place where the fixed gear folks are the rule. Turning around and leaving the trainers behind calculating their routine we floated down the hills and around Saint Dagwood's park to the shop where I took my leave from the gecko. I hustled on to the peddler's ramp to visit the bear. The wharf road took me on to the long and winding where the kalarupa and the ratha-bhojana-vrksa greeted me. The kalarupa and I nipped and tucked at each other all the way to the sandhya who is so happy to see us back again.
Tonight is the Deep within the far off jungle nightdress. The fire is back and so the chodders are off. They dance all night on their teakwood throne and enjoy their pastimes with grace and happiness.
