The cowherd boy, Visalaksa, fans Krsna with a peacock fan, a sikhipicca camara. That's this outfit's name. Like most of the ones that come prefab, just put together, this one has a couple of pieces that needed to be rearranged. Mahaprabhu's kirta was supposed to be a chodder but is just too big so it became the kirta. Garlands are of the famous flowers and daisy pompoms.
As i pedaled along my usual trail i saw those folks out for a Sunday spin. Some quite well dressed and some who looked as if they were of the poorer section, looking for the places only they might know to go. Around the harbor were a group of adventurers. They pedaled fully loaded with tents, clothes and cooking supplies. Another place were three together with matching jerseys and shorts. By the fruit market were a pair of husbands and wives on tandems. Then it was by the opal cliffs where the sufferers are coming from the ocean and going to. There also a family was pedaling together. Even as i made my way back for the sandhya there were a couple of people out to see the world. And i just went on by to complete the ride.
In the ninth will be Mahaprabhu in peacock blue and green with Giridhari in similar color dhoti and red coat while Gandharvika has a peacock blue sari and choli both. The night is a bit cooler so they can comfortably engage in their pastimes.
