Today's outfit was offered on Radhastami a few years ago. It features Giridhari and Mahaprabhu in vests and no kirtas. Gandharvika's skirt has jari between pannels and appliques in each one. Giridhari has a red dhoti and Mahaprabhu's is purple. The date of that Radhastami became the name of the dress, just to kind of poke some fun at the seamstress who would give each dress the name of the holiday it was offered on. The date was Friday, the thirteenth of September.
Lots of beach crusiers on the road today. One of the more popular models of pedals here. It must remind the folks of how they pedaled as children, not so intimidating as more sophisticated road or mountain styles. In such a quick today i no time to pay attention to the geese or people and places as i past, all i could think of was the smiling faces of the Deities and getting back in time for the arati. whew, i made it but with not a moment to spare.
The blue and orange night dress went on while one of the young people finished their rounds outside. A dofferent belt for Gandharvika this evening. The old jari one has come to it's end. So it was replaced with one made of looping gold chains meeting in a round broch as the center.
