Mahavisnu stays on his back
Ksirodakasyi visnu surfs the ocean of milk.
Murk is so simple minded says he can’t remember what the Deities wore Thursday
Hari nama in well known park on the famous lower east side
Where everyone’s on the go-go and all the prasadam tastes nice
Rose petal leis almost an exact match so beautifully fragrant and looking so fine
Bursting out after the vaikalika service. “Where do you get the energy?” Mahamuni asks “i respect the ratha-bhojana-vrksa” I answer. Crossing over the main road into the southland past the sign maker and around the curve for the deliver me. Through “the village” and by the wharf with the toad and gecko our group makes people take a second look. The sufferers on the opal cliff are excited to go out on the waves. As the sufferers so we are so willing to pedal into the wind and around the basketball park. The toad takes leave at his gym. The gecko and I continue to his shop where he also takes leave. I go on alone through the triangle right to the harbor. The windmill has all kinds of balloons out today and festoons but I couldn’t decided what is so special about today. So I put my head down and pedaled with all that I had. The sandhya had been waiting a few minutes when I got in.
Still Guru-Gauranga-Gandharvika-Giridhari are enjoying their soft beds this evening. They get ready for a dance this evening even though it took me so long.

Didn't anybody tell her? She didn't have a calendar to see guru maharaja's day was Monday Govardhana puja came the next week and though I thought for sure she'd know I was only teasing she still told me to “shut up kid"
Freesia and two or three varieties of roses in the leis today light and still not too big around now I ask you is that a fragment? Well old toffee nose says it is. Tell him to put it somewhere.
Off to nowhere specific but everywhere in general the ratha-bhojana-vrksa is there to receive respects as always. On the main road there is a pedaler off in the distance and the crazy sprinter in me sets sight and locks in on catch him. It was at the field of the clank of the aluminum bat that I went by. He looked up and decided I had challenged him. He took off after me but was dusted and though he laid chase it was too little to late. The gecko is cheering when I meet him at the whaler's. He'd been watching it from there. We went on from there through the triangle. The school is getting ready to close for the season as we pass by. The house that taught choc-o-lot to talk-a-lot is full of customers again today. The boats are out from the harbor and there is pedaler on a set the next rung up from mine. The gecko and I chase along behind past the tennis park. The gecko overtakes him there but it takes me all the way to the toad's road. We cross the road where the toad joins up. The three of us pull away from the fourth and then he makes a right taking his leave. Coming up from the opal cliff I stop at a sign and wait my turn. I take off and a mighty ups woman runs the other one and spews a stream of words my mom would never let me say. I do a double take since her kind aren't supposed to talk in such a salty manner. By now I've reached the long and winding and take my leave from the other two and respect the ratha-bhojana-vrksa going back to shake hands with the sandhya.
Deep within the far off jungle this evening so Guru-Gauranga Gandharvika-Giridhari wanted to take their rest a little earlier tonight so they could go off to dance the night away. The dress that has the white silk with red flowers and green stems to make it a “camouflage” of sorts.

Layers and layers of seva all around it really doesn't matter if you're up or down
praying they're there in pleasure or misery which ever it is Guru's grace broke maya's hold on me. He teaches me the world is in the mind, oh it's true not just tomorrow but 'till the end of time. Sumanas flower leis swing 'round their necks ecstatic feelings a bushel and peck confirmed by the guru-sadhu-sastra check
Off to see the stars of the morning time. Keeps me on the path of health and spiritual wealth. Offering respect to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa i meet the gecko. We decide to take the long way round. Past Mahamuni's post box and up the snob hill. The wharf leads past the opal cliff. We are pedaling together seeing many sufferers and beach cruisers. We weave in and out of them all keeping the clock in mind after all the stars are appearing at half past the hour. We arrive early enough to circle around once more. Past the ped es trains and single speed freaks. Then taking darsan of the stars and taking off to the neighborhood of the Bhakta Blade kutir. Instead of stopping in we view the sufferer thakur. Along the railroad bridge and seeing the 'supermen' on the mountain boys ramps we speed past the leaping monque. He takes his leave at his shop and i gingerly make it through the triangle and the florist's. The hospital lot and the bank give me cover to get to the long and winding and bow to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa where a deer crosses the road saying hmmm... there's something you don't see everyday, a boy on a small horse with round legs.
It's a miracle mom that this outfit was complete for Vyasa puja. "You're good" one local muni told me but i replied "You say that to all the pujaris" Guru-Gauranga Gandharvika-Giridhari go on enjoying this and other banter of the devotees.

With some extra cloth and silk thread in her spinerettes
the seamstress decodes the tailor's secret alphabet
new chodders for Mahaprabhu and Giridhari
extra pleats for Gandharvika's sari
they'll wear it at dusk when Nrsimhadeva appeared
learn to correct
Leis of sumanas flowers that are unique and individual with symetry and light weight for all.
Bowing to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa i head for the main road. Today i cross over and venture to the southland. Left back to the main road i pedal with everything i've got to meet the gecko on the hour. There he is at the hospital curve so with the steam breaking under my helmet we go over Saint Dagwood's river. The tennis park where portsider is taking on two more dexterious ones. Guys pedaling with ladies are plentiful today. Must be some kind of challenge coming in that mood. The gecko and i aren't sure we're a couple of crazy sprinters who just want to hammer. The soccer pitch is on the right as we take off toward the toad's. The harbor is full no boats out today. The shoppers are at the corner and the cruiser is at his reviewing stand and giving us a hand as we pass. The gecko takes his leave and i have to really give it as much as i can to make the sandhya. It waits for me to respect the ratha-bhojana-vrksa one more time as long as i don't stop to smell the roses.
O deer dough this evening. No matter how hard i tried Guru-Gauranga Gandarvika-Giridhari are more determined to stay up late. Mahamuni won't let me off with out hanging up the wash now, the cook insists on far more jotish than necessary and i'm left cooking the dude late into the night mahamantra's sacrifical right.

Step up for darsana of Guru-Gauranga Gandharvika-Giridhari
Come and see their clothes! You've got to see their clothes!
There's Mahaprabhu in his traditional mango hue
Necklaces yellow, cream and blue
Standing in the middle is that ever youthful fellow
Giridhari in his favorite color, yellow.
On the left hand side Gandharvika resides and though it's not the shade Gurdeva would choose it's one she takes for her own, her vey own.
Leis of roses both full and petals some face the kirtan their beauty enhanced by the bodies of the Lord making everyone smile.
The vaikalika happened and then the ratha-bhojana-vrksa called me out. Respect to you oh great big tree and I take the main road to the left. It's as if I'm going to Mahamuni's postbox but I don't stop I climb the snob hill and remember the verses the trip distance suggests. Tad viddhi pranipatena pariprasnena sevaya… just try to learn the truth… At the wharf the gecko is meets me and we spin along the opal cliff. Then the sunny cove comes into view and we increase our speed to make the go light. A sprint breaks out to the harbor where we pull up. A pink beach cruiser is going in the opposite direction and gives us a thumb up. The natasala is dark 'till the weekend. At the shop I make an arrangement to tune up my pedals next week. “You pedal the stuffing out of this thing,” the wrench says to me. He knows me by name by now. “I am pretty bad,” I answer. “NO, it's great, I'm just amazed” the wrench replies. The date is set and the gecko and I return to our pedaling through the triangle where the cruiser king joins in. The dog wash is full to day and we hear the barks and blow dryers. We over take a family out for an afternoon of pedaling along the beach near the sufferer thakura he's got a fresh lei from the flowers around the homeless park, and speed along the east cliff. The wharf road comes up on the left and a lone roadie who is in full flight over takes us. The long and winding is there and I take my leave to meet the sandhya and to respect the rath-bhojana-vrksa.
This evening Stealamani and I are so tired that we keep getting our tongues in front our eye teeth and thus we can't see what we're saying. That way we make too many funny mistakes even to write down here. In the meantime Guru-Gauranga Gandharvika-Giridhari slip into their Prahlad-a-dad nightdress and enjoy listening to the silly banter as they wait to dance the night away.

We went down to Loi Bazaar to fill our shopping list
Standing in line with the seamstress devi
we decided to order the Deities an outfit in the Monday color
cream and red when we got to the front of the line
to talk to the tailor he said one thing to us and that was this
you don’t always want what you get but just wait and see you’ll like what you see.
He turned out to be right we didn’t really want what we got
But when the curtain opened on Janmastami night we liked what we saw.
Today the sumanas flower leis mixed with a handful of rose petals came out of the box and they stayed there.
Being as it’s a holiday the gecko met me right at the end of the asrama driveway we started at an easy spin bowing to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa as we passed right at the main road. The florist was in. Several pedalers were out celebrating the day of the Unknown Soldier. Up to the whaler where the beasts had pushed us then making a left at the light and down the pedaler’s ramp over the bridge to the tennis park and between the lakes. Some had stopped at one of the watering holes but we kept on to the big road and took another left. The toad joined us again today. All along the road kids with lemonade stands kept us in view but we had our bottles and didn’t stop to refill. The harbor was almost empty on this sunny afternoon. The natasala is closed today too. Saint Dagwood’s park is full of revelers with flags and festoons. Right another bridge and past the courthouse. On the left one of the folks had a restaurant some time back but a fire changed all that. The cruiser king makes us a foursome today. The toad takes the lead through the triangle. The house that taught choc-o-lot to talk-a-lot has people in the lot and inside. The warm afternoon seems to make them want to sample their wares. Rounding the bend and taking a left at the go light the King takes the lead. The windmill is closed for the monuments. The opal cliff is almost empty except for a team of tandems. An epedaler tries to show us how he’s faster than we are. By the next go light he’s not talking. The wharf road takes winding and us to the long. Even though it’s a holiday I take my leave and go up to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa to offer respect. The vaikalika is waiting. Coming up the drive I see a long snake but it’s not seeing me.
Tonight is baby blue one where Gandharvika and Mahaprabhu match but since the blue would get lost in Giridhari’s skin he has all white. Even though Giridhari’s in all white call this baby blue. And we did. They dance the night away with the topmost joy.

To get there may not take much time
‘cause the world is in the mind
you just have to change your consciousness
Taking darsana of Guru-Gauranga Gandharvika-Giridhari in this magic watercolor featuring dragonflies that steal your heart, transport you to highest awareness
Sumanas flowers and mums have the leis dancing around their dark and fair forms reflecting surya’s brilliance in each flower.
The ratha-bhojana-vrksa calls me out to beat the rain today. Starting in the southland and making the left to the parking lot to join with the gecko and cruiser king the toffee nose hiding in the bushes jumps out, tossing his flag high in the air calls aloud “Fragment!” Without so much as raising an eyebrow we pedal on to the tennis park. The harbor beckons and we pedal by with it on our left. The natasala is hosting a band today and people are lined up to hear. Jumping off at their shops, the gecko and cruiser king, leave me to make it through the triangle on my own. I go on to the pedaler’s ramp and cross over Saint Dagwood’s creek. The bear waves as I break into a heavy sprint to get to the wharf road and head to the long and winding in time to respect the tree and shake the hand of the sandhya who smiles as I make it on time.
Guru-Gauranga Gandharvika-Giridhari are ready for resting this evening in the golden soft bed outfit. Yellow satin with gold web forming Giridhari’s belt and the accent to Gandharvika’s veil even here the toffee nose is complaining. They ignore him like the gecko; cruiser king and I all did earlier this afternoon.
May 25,2008
When the lion is in the time of birth
And in the jotis cakra appears the simha
A blue ribbon personality has appeared
And the Lord’s loving search has begun.
These are the words of the astrologer
Who made Mahaprabhu’s chart.
Giridhari has a patka again and Gandharvika has the red panels with gold trim
Sumanas leis with rose centers light and not too big around.
From the asrama to the southland a questionable left onto the main road to meet the gecko once again with folded palms to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa on the way. Due to the conjunction of Sunday and the holiday many of the usual beasts have taken the day off. We speed along to the tennis park. A match is going on there featuring one of the vamya hasta sanga. Between the lakes where few people are due to the chill and the overcast sky. The windmill is spinning in the breeze as we turn to the east cliff. “Sand on the roadway” a sign, says and sure enough the pedaler’s lane is covered. The light beast count allows us to drift into their usual lanes without hearing their cries. In the opposite direction a fleet of pink cruisers gives us the “hi sign”. Further on the pedaler’s lane is again blocked by people and their dogs and again we slide into the beast’s lane. Swinging around the bend the soccer pitch comes into view. A team in training is too intensely absorbed to notice our own sprint to beat the go light. The toad joins us now and we form our own pace line to the harbor. The road to the natasala is empty too. “Hail the day” we exclaim. A lone pedaler headed for the harbor grins to hear us and pumps his arm in the air. Around the shopper’s corner and with the school on our right we break into a full sprint the gecko takes the lead. Through the triangle to the station of the radicals taking that right we continue our chase to the railroad track by now the toad has taken the first place. He shows the way around the corner to the public radio. We pass the honky-tonks and bars finding our way to the opal cliff. A few hearty sufferers are there on the white caps. The wharf road finds us slowing our pace a bit. I take their leave when we get to the long and winding and bow to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa. A leprechaun shouts, “Get a horse!” as he passes me. Later he welcomes me to the asrama and corrects himself “I should have said ‘get a horse prabhu!’” then he chuckles and plays a tune on his penny whistle.
And in the ninth Srila Guru Maharaja appears and Guru-Gauranga Gandharvika-Giridhari were offered this nightdress. A clear night for them to engage in their pastimes with joy.

In a Vrndavana garden sitting beneath a tree
Waves of the Yamuna incited Mahaprabhu’s memory
of water pastimes with milk maids in a bygone day
and here it’s clear that yellow and blue combine as green for the first time.
Rose leis “all exactly the same except completely different.
Flowing with their dancing and beautified by their own bodies.
The ratha-bhojana-vrksa happily receives my respects. I meet the gecko at the go light on the main road. We break into a sprint right away to get across the bridge over the first highway. The whalers cheer as we pass. We make the left at the house that taught choc-o-lot to talk-a-lot and down to the redone road. The beasts don't want to allow us to slide onto the pavement over Saint Dagwood's creek still somehow we sneak across their lines. Through the road construction and up over the railroad bridge taking the right as if we were going to Bhakta Blade's kutir. We pass the turn for that and circumambulate the spinner's church before going on to the market where Ricky and babhu master Sambeau are spreading the unending glories of our golden lord.
Aren't they pleased? Staying for only a few moments the gecko and i take back to the park of mountain men doing more 360s. The road past the leaping monque is being repaired too and so we tip toe between the flagmen. Back at the gecko's shop he takes his leave leaving me to explain this adventure to all the rest.
Taking themselves deep within the far off jungle Guru-Gauranga Gandharvika-Giridhari get ready for rest and the rest of their evening pastimes.

Now if the kirtan leader sang the wrong line what would you do?
Would you try and quietly provide the right one or if no one else seemed to notice would you go along too?
Ask the seamstress to make a new outfit of deep forest green
Would you go to get a sheet of lyrics and place it before leader ji?
With silvery pleats and flowers on the chodders
Or would you consider that sarvasya caham hrdi sanivistho
Mattah smrtir jnanam apohanam ca? Seated in the heart of the kirtan leader, Giridhari himself cause the forgetfulness
And offer it on Guru Maharaja’s appearance day.
With leis of rose petals that look so just right.
Oh ratha-bhojana-vrksa let praises be and then go on around the southland and cross the bridge over the first highway. The gecko is there and we take the whaler’s hill with a bit of a huff and puff since the wind is blowing hard. There’s road work going on near the leaping monque but we sneak around with the several other pedalers. Bhakta Blade has gone to take permission to motorize his dui cakra ratha so he isn’t in his kutir. We’re sprinting now to the great blue whale. Seeing the skeleton we marvel and slow a bit. Then it’s back out the way we came. “What did Della wear?” I ask the gecko. “She wore her new jersey” he answers. The ramps are empty like I’ve never seen. With Saint Dagwood’s park on the left we round the shopper’s corner. The gecko’s shop is there and he takes leave to close. I go on to the harbor where boats are still out. The sunny cove is full of sufferers today. The beasts force me through the east cliff. Maybe it’s Vayu’s influence or maybe it’s a weekday but there are few people along the cliff. Sprinting alone to the opal cliff where I pass an e-pedaler. He looks on in disbelief. The wharf road as usual, takes me to the long and winding where I bow to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa. The sandhya is about to begin and I enter in and join in.
This evening Krsna is a brahmacari in his orange dhoti. Gandharvika is in purple and orange. Mahaprabhu adds white to the mix. Dressed as they are they go off to dance the night away and lie down only for a moment.

Mahaprabhu we can’t believe our good fortune that you’re here
please become all we talk about every single day of the year.
Dancing in kirtan, relishing what Raya Ramananda said
may visions of you at the house of Sri Advaita fill our heads
Mahaprabhu, our golden Lord may we sing with joy your glories following our srila guru maharaja’s lotus footsteps
Mahaprabhu in your dress called Superstar came to search for your lost servants wherever they are.
Taking off early to the main road after respect to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa. The gecko meets me at the florists and we go on to the triangle. There is a light count of beasts so we get through quickly. We go on to Saint Dagwood’s park. No one is there so we circle around the trader’s place to the navapatra. Crossing the bridge with the taja on the right we head up another hill. Taking a left at the top to the cruiser king’s reviewing stand the gecko has to get back to work so we take the right before the triangle. At the go light he makes the right and I a left. Then I head for the harbor and count the sails. Many are out in ocean this mild day. The windmill is empty today but later there will be so many people there. The big road takes me back to the toad road. The toad follows me to the tennis park. The redone road leads me to the natasala, which is waiting for the weekend’s show. Starting for the asrama, I don’t break stride until the pedaler’s ramp. I slow enough to take the right and the down hill grade increases my speed. Up to another go light passing through to the wharf road once again and the long and winding. The tree awaits while I bow my head and bear down to the asrama where the vaikalika is waiting. This morning stealamani took off with his newfound freedom on the loop of the fruit express that gave the reason for this adventure.
From one side it’s orange and the other it’s green but the dhoti Mahaprabhu is wearing leaves no mistake at all that this is the lotus nails outfit and they’ll soon be enjoying their night pastimes.

Gandharvika wearing a blue sari, beautifully blue sari today. Offering the incense, Vrndavana Flower and meeting Giridhari
in the Yamuna’s forest bower
Mahaprabhu wearing mango Giridhari in yellow dancing like a peacock a celestial swashbuckling fellow.
Saffron roses facing the music in Mahaprabhu’s leis, Giridhari and Gandharvika with sweetheart red and big yellow to match the mood of each outfit, they like it like that.
The wind whistles through the ratha-bhojana-vrksa today as I pass in respect. The former throne of King Midas boasts same service, new management. Pedal to work week has brought out pedalers on all sides of the road. From pink cruisers to recumbent freaks a parade snakes it’s way through the traffic. The gecko joins me at the windmill and we pass through the sunny cove and sprint to the opal cliff. The wharf road takes us to the toad road. He awaits and jumps in at the go light at the intersection. Our trio pedals to the redone road making the left at the natasala. As usual the gecko takes leave to close his shop. Without breaking stride the toad and I round the shopper’s corner pass the reviewing stand of the cruiser king and through the triangle. All the way to the pedaler’s ramp. From there we sprint toward the tennis park but the toad jumps out at the road that leads to his gym. I continue to the wharf road that leads on to the long and winding were the rath-bhojana-vrksa still has wind blowing through it’s branches. The sandhya is waiting for me when I pull in and return to the traditional dress.
Bhakta Blade is riding on a horse of a different color tonight. Just yesterday morning they gave him a license we hope they get it sent in time for the purchase of stealamani’s camero. Guru-Gauranga Gandharvika-Giridhari dance the night away while the wind keeps the clouds at bay.

Walking to the top of a hill on this purnima day
I came upon a man worshiping Buddha and keeping
perfectly still.
I thought to break his meditation with a sound he thinks
I can’t make
His bubble burst and he was called back across the universe
Then I took him for darsana of Guru-Gauranga Gandharvika-Giridhari in this white and gold dress. Giridhari’s turban and Gandharvika and Mahaprabhu’s tiaras make the leis of whole and petaled roses more beautiful.
Bowing my head to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa and going to the main road as fast as I know how I stop at the stagecoach. The gecko meets me at the tennis park. Together we swing through the sufferers at the sunny cove. People on cruisers with their boards strapped on take their sweet time to their destination. The gecko and I aren’t on that kind of scene we dream of days of friendly racing. We weave a wreath of friendly competition around the cruisers as we go to the navapatra. We head to the toad’s. He smiles and gives two thumbs up but is too busy to join us. On we go past the senior trailer park and the kingdumb come. The harbor is empty today ‘cause of the twoderful weather and all the boats are out even on a Monday. We roll up to the gecko’s shop just in time for him to lock the door. Through the triangle we sprint to the pedaler’s ramp. Rising to the go light our head of steam is great enough to ignore things and sprint on to the bear’s house. The gigglers are enjoying the two pedalers nipping and tucking at each other along the road to the wharf road. That leads on to the main road and later the long and winding one. Ratha-bhojana-vrksa receives my folded palms and then continues to address the group. The sandhya is waiting on me as a return. Kiba jaya
Guru-Gauranga Gandharvika-Giridhari dancing late tonight put fear into the heart of fear himself. There’s a name for experience like that but this dress is called baby blue so as not to invite any of those characters.

"If I have a chance to meet with Giridhari I will worship time with garlands and sandalwood paste so those moments will last forever" Gandharvika prays those words so some say she's in with time. Her service is so very fine. Of course the offerings are accompanied by the ringing of bells so she is there with bells on. Rose and sumanas leis long and not too big around. New lights bring out the sunglasses on the most simple of us.
A dash to the main road just lifting my eyes long enough to respect the ratha-bhojana-vrksa. From there i make my way through the parking lots and up the small hill to the bridge over the first highway. The gecko meets me there and we go on past the park of the clank of the aluminum bat. The traffic pushes us all the way to the post office. We make a virtual "U" turn back to the wharf road. The sufferers are on the opal cliff and the tide is coming in. We take a left onto the road of the honky-tonks and bars. Just beyond a trailer park we make another left onto the road that leads to the sunny cove. It's full of people come to escape the heat hoping it will be all right. The windmill is on the right and people are once again taking their coffee outside to drink and observe the passing show. The natasala is dark this evening the festival is over. At his shop the gecko has to take leave to close up. i go around to the cruiser king's he's also closing down so i go on past the dog wash to the pedaler's ramp. The toad greets me and pedals along past the navapatra and on to the wharf road. At the main road we take the left fast to sneak between the beasts at the stop sign. Then a right onto the asrama road where the ratha-bhojan-vrksa gets our folded palms in respect. An early dressing calls me back to the asrama.
The new dress in honor of the Nrsimhacaturdasi is called Hiranyakasipu. That's because hiranya means gold and kasipu means soft bed. The cloth in this one is yellow and gold with wispy gold netting. Also it's a nightdress so it all seems to fit in. Guru-Gauranga Gandharvika-Giridhari enjoy their pastimes to their full satisfaction, lying down only for a moment.

In the holy land of Navadvipa on the banks of the sacred Ganga
Everything is mystical leaves the west far from far behind
But what's that coming from the kelarganga?
and the golden lord is searching his lost servants
while the brahmins are going out of their heads
ask Maharaja Pratraparudra while he's sweeping the road
offered for Gaura Purnima some time ago first with the silver crowns
but the gold works best the ganga wins over the yamuna
The rose leis with daisies add a splash of color to the white outfit
A team goes by as i enter the main road. Respect to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa and i give half a chase until the gecko meets me 'round the bend to the tennis park. The windmill is open with folks sitting outside in the cool breeze to beat the heat. We dodge the sufferers on the east cliff and take off for the wharf road. Taking a right there we silently slip through the opal cliff and on the sunny cove. The natasala's film festival is in progress as the gecko says "good-bye" and i turn the shopper's corner and head back to the long and winding to respect the tree and slide under the sandhya's tag.
That's the most blessed event, to be able to help them into their night dress and see them off to their evening pastimes with grace and happiness.

The night I was born was the ninth day of the waning moon of the month of Kartika.
My brother stood guard at the door so no ghosts who take the form of cats entered into the room.
It was midnight that waning moon night and all the colors were shades of purple like today’s outfit.
The leis are big fluffy roses picked from gardens in mandala. “A tisket a tasket, two full baskets of flowers and petals” the maker left them for the madyakalia and sandhya aratis.
Perhaps the last day of pedal to work week and so there was a rush of pedalers out there to join in. Offering respect to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa I also join in. The gecko is there at the main road to meet me. First we cross over the bridge over the first highway. A driver of one of the beasts comes to blow their horn. No response. A second louder longer blast and the toffee nose joins in. Response, no again so the toffee nose jumps up and displays the ankusa mudra. Internally we laugh at the beast and the toffee nose but show no emotion. That causes both of them to become irate. More internal laughter but still nothing outside it seems that the toffee nose is going to burst. Guffaws. Taking the right at the curve and going to the tennis park the road goes on to the windmill. Then we come to the sunny cove and sprint to the wharf road. We take the left to the soccer pitch. Following the road up to the redone road. The natasala has a film festival going on this evening. We read the sign but decide it’s almost time for the sandhya so he goes to his home and I turn at the shopper’s corner and fly through the triangle. Huffing and puffing I keep the pace through the commercial way. Then the long and winding I respect the rath-bhojana-vrksa and speak to a buck grazing there. The sandhya gives me a push up the stairs and back to blow the shank.
Deep within the far off jungle Guru-Gauranga Gandharvika-Giridhari dance the night away. The night are warm and it won’t be long till the full moon comes.

Folks are enticed to go for the instant pleasure that comes from
Being the captain of their high school team
Or maybe a politician engaged in public speaking no matter what the weather or
Even a knighthood from the Queen
And at that ceremony she dress up all in gold in the chains of the days of old.
This one has all the colors of the rainbow to bring out the beauty of the rose petal leis that cast their fragrance throughout the temple. Topped with peacock mukuts no matter how many times they’ve seen it the sevaites had their breath taken away.
From the door of the asrama the heat required a journey down to the sea again, where the sea meets the sky. Respects to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa begins my search for cooler air. I cross the main road and venture into the southland once again. Taking a right back to the main road I keep Mahamuni’s post box on my right. I take the next right to the snob hill and past the wharf. The opal cliffs are chock full of sufferers also heading for the sea. The sunny cove sees me chasing a pace line to the redone road. The natasala is preparing for a weekend film festival. The gecko waves a smile and asks me to meet him on my return. To downtown and beyond to see the stars from the morning sky good ol’ toffee nose sits beside me as I name the constellations. “Just need to keep you from trying to sneak another one of your fragments past me! HA!” After that experience I set my sights on Bhakta Blade’s kutir where Stealamani is taking the name in ecstasy. Along the street that is the center of a suit from the family of a dead pedaler. The park of the mountain man is almost empty today. The brave few are “catching the big air” through and laughing, exclaiming and carrying on. Around two lady pedalers who seem more interested in their conversation than the road their pedaling. The gecko and I take the turn to the cruiser king’s. We go through the triangle with ease today and on to the harbor to count the sails on the bay. Between the lakes the gecko has to take his leave so I pedal on through the pelican’s point to the wharf road. The navapatra is on my left the whole way and I get to the main road where I make a left and pass the bus stop on my way to the long and winding. The ratha-bhojana-vrksa seems to bow as I do when I pass. The sandhya awaits.
The purple and green leads the lion on the chase tonight. Searching the land for a place to dance and enjoy their evening pastimes.

Early in the morning after mangala arati time
Guru-Gauranga Gandharvika-Giridhari dressed in an outfit so fine
Into the temple off of the street our sankirtan party
Dancing in time to the mrdanga beat
We’re dressed kind of scruffy
But no one seems to mind
Just as long as our guru varga connection is prime
Over across the bay there’s a different paradigm
Stiffly pressed new clothes, the puckawalla kind
And everything they do is exactly within rhyme
That’s the difference between our gang and their shine
Respecting the ratha-bhojana-vrksa and then to the main road where I see the participants in pedal to work week thumbing their noses at the toffee nose who insists this is a fragment. How many of them will be pedaling next week? But no matter, I’m all the way to the field of the clank of the aluminum bat by now. At the whaler’s the gecko joins me. We circle the post office and back to the main road. Through the triangle we continue to Saint Dagwood’s park. From there we take a left to the leaping monque and the park where the mountain men do loop de loops off their ramps. Turning to Bhakta Blade’s kutir and going on to the road were the family of the dead pedaler is suing the city. Up the steep hill and around to the gecko’s shop where he takes leave to lock up. I go on to the harbor and the pelican’s point. To the east cliff and sunny cove. More tandems are there but all going the opposite way. People are coming to escape the heat of the city. But the sandhya is calling me back to the wharf road and on to the long and winding. Respect once again that ratha-bhojana-vrksa and sprint to the asrama. A large driver of an even larger truck goes by and displays the ankusa mudra, sometimes the locals call it “the California How do you do?” He blows his horn at me and then a pedaler just ahead. As I go by that pedaler we look at each other and shake our heads.
O deer dough have you seen Krsna? Tonight’s dress as Guru-Gauranga Gandharvika-Giridhari search a place to dance the night away.

Gurudeva’s mercy! Guru-Gauranga Gandharvika-Giridhari with their ‘Nila dress on! Offered the incense Vrndavana Flower come take darsana see how beauty is far above power! Gold and blue yellow too a sporting choice award from Bhakta Blade.
“As I was picking the white roses in the leis this morning I was near a business where their alarm was going off the whole time I was picking. It made me so nervous that it was hard to finish” the leis maker told me today. Somehow or other Guru-Gauranga Gandharvika-Giridhari wanted the fluffy leis with such a fragrance that the “thakur bari” was permeated by it.
All along the asrama road ratha-bhojana-vrksa keeps watch. So I offer respect each time I pass. Around the southland today I make the right to do a quick one to get a bulb for the altar. Going it alone on the wharf road as quick as my pedals will take me. It’s a quick search and purchase and I’m back at the bear’s again starting to the asrama via the big road. Crossing a bridge over the first highway I squeeze between the beasts who are also crossing and those entering the highway. The vaikalaika service calls me back and I put up the bulb and wake them. Then it’s back for more. The main road to the whaler’s where I meet the gecko. His shop has now closed for the day so we go to the harbor and count the sails coming in. The windmill is still open with people sitting in the parking lot sipping their drinks. A recumbent goes by on the opposite side with it’s large ferring. The gecko and i go along the east cliff to the point of the hook. Then back around to the public radio. The redone road takes us to the natasala, which is empty tonight. The gecko takes his leave to check up on his shop and I sprint for the pedaler’s ramp and to trailer park. To the wharf road, which takes me, home again. As I respect the tree a deer stops to question deep in its mind just what kind of creature it is seeing. Returning the ratna bahu comes and says he saw me in the southland and was reminded that he was going to get a new jotish for the simasana. Lord above!
The lotus nails for the nightdress tonight. Gandharvika’s panel skirt for the ratri kalina. Stealamani repaired the clothes cabinet with a simple screwdriver. The more we gaze the more the wonder grows how one small head can handle all he knows.

Coming in for darsana Guru-Gauranga Gandharvika-Giridhari are dressed in red silk embroidered with peacock feathers crowned by the very same cloth. The sumanas flower leis don’t do much but the rose petal one attracting the finest part of my mind. Now Giridhari plays on his bamboo flute and makes all the three worlds dance. They all sing his glory but somehow they just can’t find the end. All the while Gandharvika smiles to see Mahaprabhu’s fun in search for their lost servants with a jolly mischievous mood.
As the sun begins to cool pedaling begins. Respect to the rath-bhojana-vrksa in the memory of SGM’s instruction. The gecko and I meet in the curve at the hospital. Together we pass the tennis park and keep the windmill on our left. All the way down to the opal cliff where the sufferers are changing into people. A side trip to the navapatra brings us to the point of the hook. The redone road beckons and we answer. The natasala is featuring a presidential dreamer this evening. Hundreds of Corvairs are parked out front in his honor. The gecko and I high five at the sight while the toffee nose just draws his green line under the last sentence and in his snobby voice coldly says “that’s another fragment”. The gecko jumps off here and I once again am left to race back to the asrama. A fellow pedaler takes the toffee nose and stuffs him under his arm stopping the traffic from negotiating the triangle by walking in front of the beasts. Going down the pedaler’s ramp all the way between the lakes and the east cliff. The big road takes me back to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa for offering respect. The sandhya awaits and I return and blow the sank to begin the service.
This nightdress is called ‘baby blue’ ‘cause there’s a name for all the outfits for all the Deities in the world. The night is clear and just chilly enough for them to go out dancing and not feel any wrong.

As the seamstress contemplated the design for Gaura Purnima
i came upon a young devotee so i stopped to listen to what she was saying
"Is there an outfit of orange, red and yellow?
i told my story to the seamstress who replied
"that could begin a new kind of mellow"
Gandharvika's sheer veil, Giridhari's red chodder and Mahaprabhu's traditional mango
petal leis light and not to long and even the backdrop from another dress completes the scene
It's late afternoon and i really should go for some fruit and Mahamuni asked for some soap. So it was respect to rath-bhojana-vrksa and off to the main road. The gecko meets me at the former throne of King Midas and we take off past the florist. Making the turn at the hospital in a smooth pace line speed we go on to the tennis park. Between the lakes where the sufferers are out in the waves now. Seeing the pedalers some on tandems the gecko and i try to applaud them for being along. Along the opal cliff squeezing around the joggers and at the soccer pitch there are a handful of team members out to train. Then to the redone road and around the railroad over Saint Dagwood's river. Up the rise and to the left to see the competition of mountain men.
People cheer with each meter of air they catch and gasp at each 'superman'. But the toling of a church tower clock calls the faithful within me back to the main road and a frantic pace back to the asrama. The gecko jumps off around the dog wash and i pick up my rate as much as i can to the long and winding where i offer return respect to the rath-bhojana-vrksa and the sandhya doffs it's cap as i pedal in to the barn
In the ninth SGM appeared and this outfit was offered for that day. This evening Sri Guru-Gauranga Gandharvika-Giridhari are ready to take rest early.

Now it seems to me that in proper Vedic culture one had gone way beyond something shocking if one let their ankles show. But now that she's come west Gandharvika seems to know just how much further things can go. Though Giridhari is wearing his traditional yellow, Mahaprabhu is in blue and isn't anything the seamstress is going to do. Leis of hyacinth and roses gathered from the maker's own garden makes a light and fragrant margin 'round their forms dancing in their attractive way.
Once again it was past the vaikalika service before the ratha-bhojana-vrksa called me out to offer respect and i flew on to the main road. There i came upon one beast that had given up and so i tried to help him out as he was peering into the review mirror. The gecko met up with me at the tennis park and we sprinted between the lakes where there must have been one hundred people playing on the beach as one. We looked knowing about their games and went on to the soccer pitch. We circled that pitch and went on down to the toad's. There two or four people on tandems waved us through as we were once again sprinting. With the harbor on our left we kept on as best we could to the natasala where another comedy troupe was performing this evening. With the doors of his shop closed and the sign turned off we turned at shopper's corner for the school. Taking the right there we passed the dog wash and went to the redone road. Left there onto the wharf road where a small library stands. Back to the main road as usual he takes his leave and i offer my respect once more to the tree. The sandhya is waiting for me as i come up the drive so i waste no time just bow down and light the incense.
The most blessed event night dress tonight. The sky is clear and there is a hint of a chill but Guru-Gauranga Gandharvika-Giridhari are in the mood to dance this evening. They may only lie down for a moment before rising once again to engage in their pastimes.

Dancing days are here again!
As Giridhari blows on his flute Mahaprabhu’s sankirtan begins
Putting a blue flower over his ear
Dancing bent in three places his sweet tune draws everyone near
Gandharvika’s sari with mirrors polished like gold
Reflecting his image for all to behold
Big and fluffy rose leis of various colors today
While they’re swirling and dancing in their most attractive way
Respect to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa and then the gecko and I take off. There isn’t a second to loose for the vaikalika has taken place and now the sandhya is coming. The main road and through the parking lots of the rob a bank and the heliport. Crossing the bridge over the first highway we fix our gaze on the point just near the park of the clank of the aluminum bats. Quickly we round the curve to the tennis park and between the lakes. We pass the honky-tonks and bars along that street. There are cruisers on pink and yellow frames. One is there with streamers out of the handlebar. That cruiser is smiling big and wide perhaps relishing deeply the joy of pedaling near the ocean. The gecko and I have been through that and are not on that stage so we pedal harder for the time is drawing nigh. On the toad road we over take a paceline and not caring to join in we go ahead to the harbor and then the natasala where the guerillas of comedy are performing. The gecko has to depart here and I go on to the pedaler’s ramp down the ramp to the bear’s house. Then to wharf road that leads me back to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa where I fold my palms and streak on ‘cause the sandhya is approaching without caring for my desire to pedal forever. At the asrama door I fly up the stairs and back to blow the sank to see that all are in for the ceremony is about to begin.
For enjoyment Guru-Gauranga Gandharvika-Giridhari have entered deep within the far off jungle where they will take their rest tonight.

The seamstress came in for darsana this morning. “What was I thinking? I don’t know where my mind was at when I gave Mahaprabhu that yellow chodder with this outfit.” It was offered a long long time ago, the seamstress should know.
Mahaprabhu’s kirta has a peacock swooning on it that was part of a backdrop in what has been called the ‘labor room of my mother’ that was before some of our members were born the leis maker should know.
She made the leis of petals, whole roses and a few sumanas flowers that match the colors of ‘the oldest of all but in a new dress’ y’all should know.
Giridhari’s earrings come all the way from Brazil as if made for this one the butteracarya should know
Gandharvika’s manatika borrowed from a puckawala the maniwala should know
The all-pervading supersoul made his presence known today. From the respect offered to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa to the second meeting of the hair-dresser-in-chief his eye was revealed in every part of my journey. At the main road there was one who sings with the children of the avenue. “It’s been to long” he waved to me. All along the field of the clank of the aluminum bat. Left over the bridge at Saint Dagwood’s bridge on to the toad road. Just before I came to the toad’s there came the nataka director driving by to say hi. On around the soccer pitch and the opal cliff to the hook of the point there it was the toffee nose his own bad self saying fragment! That’s a fragment! The sunny cove was on the left as I passed the windmill and sprinted between the lakes. Through downtown and over the railroad bridge on the way to Bhakta Blade’s kutir I see the sufferer murti with his new leis. Stealamani was leaving from his kutir on the umpire carrier driven by rat dhari he shouted my name so I turned around to wave before going on to see the mountain men and skate boarders co-operating. Both were ‘catching big air’ as I looked down. The monque was jumping for joy as I passed. In the trader’s I saw yet another working the cash register we low fived. I passed Saint Dagwood’s park and on to meet with the gecko. He exclaimed “I wish I could go with you today but…” Next to the cruiser king came the first meeting with the hair-dresser-in-chief. Safely passing through the triangle along the harbor the wharf road takes me to the southland. Then the second meeting with the hair-dresser-in-chief who said “I’m following you” I sped up the long and winding, offering the respect to the ratha-bhojana-vrksa and pulling into the sandhya service.
It’s a miracle mom, the nightdress tonight. The end of the day on which satya yuga began and the first day of Jagannathdeva’s candanyatra. Guru-Gauranga Gandharvika-Giridhari quickly readied themselves for their evening rest.

After Vamsi dasa Babaji had come on his horse of a different color talking like a pirate the Aruna har posse got wind of it and they set out in pursuit. They questioned everyone “do you think you know his plan?” “Is he out all night?” The posse asked. They went on in their pink and green. Giridhari with his crystal tear drops swinging and making a sound that descends from the land where all talk is song and every step is a dance. The sumanas flower leis float along with the clothes on the gentle breezes created as the posse kept searching for Vamsi dasa Babji.
The gecko and I sprint to the main road. Ha ha, just you wait I’ll bet you old toffee nose calls this next sentence a fragment to the opal cliff where sufferers change and go down to the waves( what did I tell you?) The navapatra is the next stop. Passing the soccer pitch the wharf takes us back to bow before the ratha-bhojana-vrksa and go all out to make the vaikalika service.
The louts nails this evening as the sky is clear and Guru-Gauranga Gandharvika-Giridhari are dancing all the night long.
